I am not sure how this place has gotten good reviews. Maybe it was a long night, and anything would have done. Golden Nugget is the place where you go at 3:00 a.m. after all the bars have closed down. I have never had an experience here that would make me write something exciting about it. I have had them get my order wrong, not ask if I needed anything (i.e. water), give me a dirty table and the list can keep going on. This place is not sanitary, and I wouldn't ever go there again. There are plenty of other alternatives available in the general location. If it is breakfast and you want pancakes then go about six or so blocks to Ann Sather's.

The Golden Nugget is a great place for breakfast. Although it's a diner, the food tastes fresh and homemade. The coffee is terrific and always tastes freshly brewed. A favorite are the whole wheat pancakes. They're thick and fluffy with lots of grains. The breakfast menu is quite extensive, from omelets to waffles to french toast and more.

This place is great. I had come in from out-of-town at night and this was one of the few places still open as it's open 24 hours. Golden Nugget has a real down-to-earth homy feel and the staff is really friendly. They serve typical diner fare including really homey comfort foods. I ordered the open face turkey sandwich which was so yummy. And I loved their homemade mashed potatoes! Another time I ordered an apple pie a la mode which was great as well!

This place is great. I had come in from out-of-town at night and this was one of the few places still open as it's open 24 hours. Golden Nugget has a real down-to-earth homy feel and the staff is really friendly. They serve typical diner fare including really homey comfort foods. This is such a great place to have a meal with friends at odd hours. Golden Nugget is open 24 hours a day, which makes it the perfect place to go to at 3am. Their prices are very affordable, and portions are more than enough. It may not look like much from the outside, but this place is great and gets lots of foot traffic.

This is one of those places that serves breakfast throughout the entire day. They have a great little menu with all the typical breakfast items. They have good, fresh food, big portions, and great prices. This is sort of a seat yourself and pay for youself restaurant and is very casual. The service nonetheless is great and this place opens early and closes late so there's plenty of time to enjoy breakfast.
