This park is real nice. Its one of the biggest attractions in Chicago. I usually go here in the summer time, its real nice then. Its a fun place to go with family or friends. A nice walk around the park or sit and enjoy some icecream. In the winter time, ice skating here can be fun if you love ice skating. Basically, this is a fun place to go to any time of year!

Most folks run straight towards sculpture affectionaly known as "The Bean". It's actual name is "Gloudgate" and is great place to pose your friends or family in front of for a photo. I get a kick out of the giant video screens that spew forth water. An amazing place to sit for a while or stroll around. I am also very impressed with the concert area with it's hanging speakers and overall ultra modern look. It rivals anything in Europe and draws visitors from around the globe. They take fantastic care of this place, one of the new gems in the city.I think this is also a great meeting spot.

This is such a wonderful new addition to our city. never mind that it took millions of dollars and almost as many years to complete. I love watching the kids run through the water, while their parents sit aside laughing. Everyone, especially the young ones, has fun here and I think that is the point. Its nice to know it doesn't have to cost a fortune to take the family downtown. My only worry is that someone's going to get hurt, slipping in a puddle or something, and tha'ts going to ruin the whole darn thing!

Millennium Park is the greatest public attraction in Chicago in years, and has spawned a field industry where many businesses around it have added the work “Millennium” to their names. It is free to the public, though its overall costs were the opposite of free. Go enjoy the spitting Crown Fountain, the Frank Gehry-designed Pritzker Pavilion and the crazy-curvy bridge, and stare at the giant “bean” named Cloud Gate.

I am going to need some explanation on this big silver bean that is displayed in this park. It is very cool, but I just can't see the purpose. I would be glad if someone would just tell me that it didn't have one so that life could go on. This park is great. In the summer you can find children running through the water falls that they created on these huge screens that show pictures of Chicagoan's. In the winter you can go ice skating, and have some hot chocolate. An all around good time.

This is definitely one of the best parks I have seen in the city.
In the summer, the main attraction seems to be the sprouting water fountain which kids and adults alike enjoy.
Then in the winter you have the ice skating rink which is so much fun. Go here even if you are a novice at ice skating. The atmosphere is fun and you will enjoy yourself either way.
There's plenty to do here all year round so I would really recommend this place to anybody who enjoys outdoor activities.

I could spend days here taking pictures. The gardens and landscapes are beautiful. In the summer there's always a ton of kids (and even adults) splashing in the waterfountains between the two ginarmous video screen towers. The ice skating is fun to watch (I can't ice skate, but my sister loves to). There's a ton of police patroling so don't be alarmed. They're just there to protect the bean! (Honestly that's what they told us when I asked).

Millennium Park is difficult to explain without actually showing a photograph. "There's this huge silver bean that people take photos of and where you can see the reflection of the skyline.. then there's these two huge video screen towers that also double as enormous fountains..." See what I mean? Between the gardens, the incredible outside theater, and the bean (of course!), there's plenty to see, and it won't cost you a dime.

This park is actually a recent addition to Chicago's historic Grant Park. It is an amzing new park with lots of great new ammenities. One of the coolest things they have here is the underground ice rink, which is a really cool place to bring the entire family during the winter. They also have a theater and a musical stage. There's always some sort of an event going on here so if you plan to visit make sure to look up whats going on so you can take advantage of that as well. Either way, it is a fun place to be all year round.

Millennium Park is a great addition to Chicago. From its amazing outdoor amphitheater to the giant bean that reflects the skyline, there's plenty to see and do. The two huge towers that double as video screens and fountains are best enjoyed in the summer months. The flower gardens and pathways are well-kept, and you could easily wander around for an hour or two in the park. Bathrooms are located underground near the theater via a ramp. Overall, Millennium Park is a great (and free) destination for tourists and locals alike.
