A friend of mine took me to this great restaurant (supper club). The prices are just right with specials almost every night. If you ask anyone what the best dish is they will tell you the sloppy joe's with tater tots. I know this is something your mom made for you when you were a kid, but oh man is it great. Everything from appetizers, soups, to burgers are great as well. Oh yeah, if you want to watch a game there are plenty of tv's and the bar serves great mixed drinks and has a great beer and wine selection. This is a must when in the Wikerpark neighborhood.

for those who don't know what whirlyball is, mix basketball and bumper cars...but instead of a basketball you have a wiffle ball and a scooper. that is a close interpretation of whirlyball. what you may not realize in hearing that is that this is AWESOME! if you don't have nine friends, start making phone calls and go get them, so you can have a full 5 on 5 blast of a good time!

Pros:
The place is incredible, probably one of the coolest nightclubs in Chicago as far as design goes. Unlike most other nightclubs your surroundings tend to blend behind you after you have become accustomed to the space. Climax is not like this, throughout the entire night I was constantly looking around thinking how cool this place is. It's like partying in an outdoor Gothic mansion.
Cons:
The music Saturday night was pretty unbearable. 3 straight hours of 140-160 BPM house just absolutely drains on you. They would play songs I recognized but with a really intense beat underneath. There is very little that's 'chill' about this place on a Saturday night. $20 cover for men and women applied at 10:45pm, which is normal I guess, but the bouncer was really callous. He acted like he was doing me a wonderful favor.
