Visited this restaurant after hearing about it on Oprah, and it did not dissapoint. Went two nights in a row! Didn't try the deep dish but the thin crust pizza was very delicious. The manager was not helpful at all. I have a new born child and she still is in her car seat in her stoller and i wanted to dine in with my sister and my new born child. My sister has a 4 year old and she was in her stroller too. The resturant has a revolving door and a regular door. My sister went in and she tried to get her stroller through the revolving door because the regular door was lock. The stroller got stuck and after awhile a person dinning in the resturant and my sister finally free it. I was waiting outside for the regular door to get unlock and the manager came outside and said he refuses to open the door so you have to fold your stroller up and go threw the revolving door. Now anyone that has a newborn knows how difficult that can be. My sister was still in the resturant and she had to fold up the stroller and carry it through the revolving door as the manager was watching her and didin't even help. I felt the regular door should have been accessible to us but he did not want to unlock it for us. That was the worst service I have ever expierance. I would never go there again because of the rudeness everone was giving. So if you have kids i would reconsider and if you don't i would hope there was not a fire because there is only one exit that is accessible. Pros: none Cons: rude managers

I wish that I could say that I am writing a review on the quality of the restaurant. However, my family never got the opportunity to even dine here. After taking in the windows at Macy's, my family walked over to Pizano's to grab some lunch. The restaurant has a revolving door as well as a traditional door. My husband took my daughter through the revolving door to open the door for me, as we had my 6 month old sleeping in the stroller. He was told that he was not allowed to open the door and that we had to take my son out of the stroller and fold it up and try to get through the revolving door. But let's be honest, this is a pizza place. At its essence, it should be family friendly. I urge you not to patronize this restaurant. I?ve never been so offended when dining before.

Let's begin with the sauce. I liked the flavor and the crushed tomatoes were a nice touch BUT the sauce was runny and watery to the point that none of the middle pieces were edible because the water had made the crust soggy in the center and one with the cardboard box; It literally fell apart and the majority stayed molded to the box. The crust, like Lou Malnati's was boring but sufficient, about as good as the pizza in your grocers freezer and the place to most likely find this crust -- so don't fall for the "butter crust", as the [idea] is far more enticing than the actual product. The cheese is okay, decent flavor, decent consistency, a little oily but that could have been the sauce causing the breakdown. The toppings were practically non-existent. I was expecting basil like a pizza Margarhita but received little bits of tasteless, most likely dried flakes. The garlic was good when I could find it. Even now, thinking back to the pizza that I just, only minutes ago, finished eating, cannot remember what the other toppings were. That should say enough about that. All in all, the pizza was edible, had decent flavor but the quality was less than acceptable. I give this pie a 2 out of 10. The delivery was prompt at the promised and the pizza was warm. I also ordered the hot wings and was less than impressed. The wings were also comparable to the frozen type available in your grocer's freezer. There was more fat than meat, were slightly undercooked and assuming that these were baked, I cannot figure why the sauce, the best part of the wing was practically dripped completely off. I think I know why the Pizano's on clark is no more...I'm guessing that it went out of business because they couldn't convince North siders that this is good food. I do not recommend this place. I call the other reviewers crazy and I ask that anyone visiting from out of town looking for a great pizza, make your way to Chicago's Pizza - www.chicagosbest and enjoy.
