I grab one everytime I'm near the downtown location

Ricobene's is the best. Absolutely agree. The breaded steak sandwich can't be beat and you can't find it anywhere else. If you get it with cheese and sauce you can barely pick up the sandwich. I always get the smaller one - I can barely eat that. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

This place is classic! I love the pictures on the wall from around the neighborhood and the snippets of Chicago history. The bread steak sandwich is a Chicago classic and big enough for two meals. I also love the chicken sandwich with the garlic bread. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I love the location too, it's the perfect place to go before a day trip to the ballpark or Chinatown.

Ricobene's is a great place to go if everyone you're with wants someting different. They have burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and pasta. The breaded steak sandwich (King size) is a beast, and always lasts me at least 2 meals. It's hardly a sandwich, as I always use a knife and fork to eat it. They also have awesome milkshakes and ice cream, if you've got a taste for something sweet.

AND... they deliver!

I've never had a pizza from here but breaded steak sandwiches? The original and almost the best. If you've never had a breaded steak sandwich let this be your first experience here. If you have a large appetite go for the full....heck, go for the full anyway cause once you taste it you'll want more. They are just out of this world. Personally I get my red sauce on the side as I prefer to dip my sandwich. Jam packed at lunch time, but they have it down to an art so the line goes pretty quick.

Ricobene's has got to be some of the best pizza ever made!! I always frequented this place during my college years. They are very plentiful with the toppings & you always feel you got your money's worth. I recommend the thin crust sausage pizza.

Pretty nice place for a pizza. they have this old time feel with all the old posters up on the wall. The place is pretty nice. Try the deep dish pizza which once you take a bite you fell very full. They ahve a parking lot whcih is a must.

Huge Breaded Steak Sandwiches

If you've never had a breaded steak sandwich then you have to head over to Ricobene's. Very cheap and very very messy but oh so good! They are huge, but thank god they came out with a Jr., it's much more of a normal size. Their pizza is good too but their breaded steaks are what they are known for. Oh, and their cheese fries go great with the steak.
