Even the fanciest restaurants in town just can’t beat the presentation, taste and appeal of the food at Joy Yee’s Noodles. Everything looked so good, I've seen folks take pictures before they devour the tasty meal! For Appetizers, try their Crab Rangoon, Shrimp in a Blanket, or their Lemon Grass Chicken Wings. For the Entree, I love their Fried Red Snapper in Tamarind Sauce, Korean BBQ Ribs, Chicken Shrimp Rice in a Pineapple Boat, or their Soft shell crab over rice in a Korean stone bowl. And while you are there, try their amazing selection of fresh fruit drinks. Their food is a visual and gastronomic delight - take your camera along!
Pros: Best asian food hands down, appeal, unbeatable price!
Cons: none

I'm not sure if I'd had a lot of Thai food before I had Penny's. What I do know is that I've had a lot of Thai food since Penny's--and nothing has compared. Nothing. Penny's does everything right. From the affordable menu to the fast, friendly service, it can't be beat. For me, the Pad Se Ew dish is legendary. I have so many fond college memories of snagging a table with friends and co-workers, opening a bottle of wine from across the street, and leaving so full that I might burst. Penny's is small and charming. There are a few locations in Chicago, but this one is my most favorite. Please go, and go again, and go again, and go again. Do it. For me.
Pros: Food, Service
Cons: Only in Chicago

I have seen these joints come and go and penny's stiil tops the list in this niche.
Stop ranting and go buy a bottle of kikkoman at the White Hen. Better yet order from the Chop Suey Buffet. Personally I enjoy the salsa that Penny always includes in the bag.
I agree Penny's is best enjoyed at Penny's. There is always going to be a trade-off if you have it delivered. Let's get away from our Plasma screens and Mac's and go enjoy life.
Pros: Great inexpensive food
Cons: closed monday

My friend and I were deciding what to have for dinner last night and thought we would try a little Thai place blocks from our house. We went in to Thai Spice and had really good customer service from the moment we walked in. There was no one there but us, but I think it is because many people order take out. We ordered Lard Nar and Hot Jungle Curry (I think it was called that). The Lard Nar and Curry were the best I have ever had. The couple that run the place know what they are doing. This is now my favorite Thai place! They even made the food vegan especially for me.
Pros: Truly Thai food.
Cons: None

This is a wonderful Thai restaurant in the Lakeview neighborhood. You can eat in or take out. If your delivery order totals over twenty five dollars they give you a complimentary Pad Thai. I suggest knohm jeep, crazy noodles and green bubble tea. But no matter what you order you won't be disappointed. They also have great lunch specials.

Really called House of Sushi & Noodles - I come here all the time. Hands down best deal in Chicago for sushi. All-you-can-eat is 14 bucks and they include most of their rolls on this list. I 100% totally recommend the Godzilla roll. DELICIOUS! I have never had sketchy sushi here and they are always always busy. Its designed and layed out really well. I always enjoy my experience here and I recommend it to everyone!

Panang makes very affordable, delicious Thai food. I love Thai food, and I've been shopping around for a good Thai restaurant in Chicago, and I conclude that this is the absolute best Thai food. Fortunately, I work close to Panang, so I have the opportunity to visit this awesome place several times a week. Their pad thai is the absolute best in Chicago. The pad see ew and lard na are delicious. Their Barbeque Pork Soup is amazing. One thing that needs improvement at this location is the Panang Noodle, which is a bit ironic. So as long as you don't get the Panang Noodle, you're good to go.
Pros: Delcious, affordable, good location.
Cons: Parking difficult. Have to fight with the delivery guy for a spot outside of the restaurant.
