Video Vision is another Indian movies and music place on Devon Avanue. It has a good selection here too just like Al Mansoor which is across the street. There is always less crowd here. They have a good selection here but the only thing I don't like is that they do not carry many of the really old movies and music from like the 1960s or 1970s that Al Mansoor does. If you want the recent releases this is a good place to check out because they always have those.

Tower Records has long been one of my favorite places to go pick up a music CD. They have a great selection here and its a small, quiet place. I like how I can take my time to browse through the titles without being hassled by their sales people. Their selection is great here and I think price wise they are pretty competitive. I have never had a problem with anything I have bought here and have always been totally satisfied with my purchase. This is one place that tops my list for music finds!

Tower is a first rate retail store that is up to the minute with the latest releases in just about every genre or style of music, this must be a hard task. They do alot of advertising about their new releases and are great at promotions. I also like their website for ordering online. Their prices are competitive and their customer service is much appreciated. Great place to buy a gift for a loved one or friend.

I origionally found this company by seeing a print ad for them in a local entertainment free paper(the Illinois Entertainer). It just so happened that they are located only a couple of miles from my home and were able to get the job done for me in a very timely manner. I had just finished up in the recording studio and need a box of cds duplicated so I could release them in stores and sell them online. Paul the owner personally took care of my order and I got to chat with him a bit. The prices here are great and so is the quality of the workmanship.Thanks Paul!

This place is way cheaper than Blockbuster. They have many movies to rent for as little as a dollar. But usually I just end up buying movies from here - they are hardly more expensive than renting from Blockbuster and I like to add to my collection. They are used movies, probably previously rented, but who cares? As long as the movie plays it works for me. And the cool thing is if you buy a movie you haven't seen before and aren't sure if you'll like, they will usually let you bring it back and exchange it for another movie if it turns out you didn't like it. You can't really beat that.

I love this store. This is a great place to find cd's, whether you are looking for something current, or maybe something older or more obscure. Over the past 15 years, I have probably bought more music from these guys than anywhere else. I have also sold music to them, and every time it's been a good experience. They only buy the best stuff, no scratches, etc. , so you know what you're buying from them will be good. Prices are decent, and the staff is ok, too.

This music store is not only a great place to go find your favorite cd's and dvd's but it is also a historic treasure of the chicago suburbs. This store caters to the needs of any music lover that comes in. The walls are lined with many different categories of music cd's that you can easily spend 3 hours browsing to your heart's content. Also, they have a section that is dedicated to just Music Dvd's. You can find the most obscure music artists in here and even those hard to find artists that you have had trouble finding elsewhere. Their prices are very reasonable. At many times, mainstream CD's and popular artists are sold here for less than ten dollars while being sold for close to 15 dollars elsewhere. They're conveniently open till midnight every single night and the staff here is awesome! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

The Staff there was so friendly & Knowledgeable & was able to name the song & artist of several songs from the 70's when i just hummed a few parts & or new only a couple lyrics. I was totally blown away. They special ordered 3 albums for me & knew whre I could get 2 songs I was looking for on compilation albums so i would not have to special order them & with the compilations I would get a lot more songs that i would enjoy instead of an album with one good song & the rest duds. I highly recommend Rock Records to anyone

I love the logo for this store that was drawn years ago. A moose with sunglasses and a guitar. The owner Mike Felten has been described as fiercly independent and is definetly that but is a personable and a downright cool guy. He is also a singer/songwriter that cares about local musicians.
He sells used cds, books and has a whole seperate room of old records (vinyl). I wish I still had my turntable. He is also the host for in-store performances.
