Video Vision is another Indian movies and music place on Devon Avanue. It has a good selection here too just like Al Mansoor which is across the street. There is always less crowd here. They have a good selection here but the only thing I don't like is that they do not carry many of the really old movies and music from like the 1960s or 1970s that Al Mansoor does. If you want the recent releases this is a good place to check out because they always have those.

This is a nice little shop for movie rentals. The service here is excellent. They have a decent selection of movies, and they also sell music. I like this place for its great service, but the selection is definitely better at bigger video rental shops. But if you call in before hand, you can find out if they have what you are looking for and you can even put it on hold. That's a pretty convenient option!

I just happened to wander into this store one day as I was walking home. It is a nice store and it is well stocked with some good music.
I especially liked their stock of Madonna paraphanelia and memoroblia. Not only did they have a lot of her music albums, but they also had a lot of posters and autographed stuff.
The staff here is really nice and they will help you find anything around their store.

I love this store. This is a great place to find cd's, whether you are looking for something current, or maybe something older or more obscure. Over the past 15 years, I have probably bought more music from these guys than anywhere else. I have also sold music to them, and every time it's been a good experience. They only buy the best stuff, no scratches, etc. , so you know what you're buying from them will be good. Prices are decent, and the staff is ok, too.

The Music Recyclery has a great selection of used CDs in great condition. You can find some rare stuff here if you do enough hunting. The prices are good, and the staff is helpful. There are so many CDs here; you could spend hours looking through them!
Parking is horrible, so take public transportation.

This is a really small little video shop on Granville. It is not really my first choice for rentals because of several reasons. One, parking can be really hard to find in the area and this street is really traffic prone. Second, their selection is quite small and they carry only a few of each new release, which makes it really hard to find one in stock. But they do have a few good deals. Like on Tuesdays, you can rent movies here for only a dollar. That includes new releases too. For that price, I can deal with a limited selection and a few extra minutes spent finding parking!

They have been around for a long time and boasts a lot of loyal customers. This small store sells used cds and vinyl. I don't have my turntable anymore, so I went right over to the used cds and found that they had a pretty decent amount of indie and alt. rock cds for sale. The last couple times I went the guy who runs the place was pretty cool and helpful.

This video store is alright. Nothing special. The workers there are a little bit rude, and a little bit slow, but if you can get over that, they have good movie sales. Twice, I've been confronted with a late fee after I turned the movie in on time in the overnight drop. It's almost cheaper just to stay at home and order movies off of the cable.

I wholeheartedly agree. What's the point of constantly advertising new releases and no late fees when they don't have anything in stock?
Last time I was here, I was looking for Pride and Prejiduice. It took three different trips before I was able to actually check that movie out! Their selection is terrible and I would really recommend another rental place if you want a place where you can get your new releases without a problem!!
