When you're a student and you're on a budget, it is hard to turn down the five dollar Tuesday's here. It really is a bargain because not only do they show many new movies, but they give you free parking and free popcorn too. The theater does get crowded though and the parking lot becomes like a zoo, but hey you get to watch a great new movie for only five bucks. Whenever possible, I try to get into here before five so I can avoid the crazy crowds.

This theater might be cheap, but it is dirty. I haven't gone here on a Tuesday and only know about the five dollar special because of Judy's Book, so I can't vouch for that. All that I can say is that the impression that I got from this place was that the nine dollars that I spent to see my movie was a waste of money for the dirty theater and bad service.

Hmmmm, with Tom and his over the top antics lately, maybe $5 is still too much. Heck, I will pay him considerably more money if he would just stop making a fool of himself and PLEASE, please, Tommy Boy, enough with you and Katie already! Yeesh. I did however have a nice time forking over only $5 (On Tuesdays at the AMC) to see the latest Hollywood flick. Although for me, I still prefer to go at other times of the week because it gets too crowded with "characters" and interesting "urban dwellers", (translation, freaks and gang bangers, let's just say it...). It's a convenient location (off the Kennedy, street and covered parking available and public transporation at the door).

Need I say more? This place is a true bargain. I can't say much for the staff, but what does it matter when you are getting out of the house for a few hours to relax and forget about work. This place could use a little work to make it a better known place on days other than Tuesday, but hey, all I care about is my five dollar ticket.

This is a frequent place for us to watch movies on Tuesdays especially because of the 5 dollar movie nights on Tuesdays. That also includes free parking and free popcorn! The movie selection can be a bit small, but they do have all the current releases. Try to get in a bit early on Tuesdays if you can because parking can be a bit of challenge to find and the lines can be a bit long. But I guess there's always a pay off when you save money! The theaters are also stadium like in terms of seating and they are kept very clean with excellent screens and theater systems. This is a great place to go to watch a move, Tuesday or not!

However, finding parking can be very challenging on Tuesday because a lot of people come that day to get the deal, the line to buy the ticket also can be long that day.

I bought tickets for a show 2 hours before it began and was told that I could not sit in their open seating area to wait for my movie. They would not allow me, pregnant at the time, to have a seat in an area with about 20 open seats. I found that to be extremely poor service. I even asked kindly a second time, admitting that I was so pregnant and tired and just wanted to see this crazy movie, and they were very rude.

I went to this AMC for the tuesday half off movie admission, and the free box of popcorn they give you to go with it. Awesome! Still, I went to see the Family Stone and King Kong, and everyone was talking, talking talking through both. With King Kong, some punks pulled the fire alarm three times through the duration of a three hour movie, which was hugely annoying, as well as lengthened my already deliriously long King Kong Experience. Ick. Still, the half price admission is pretty cool, though you're paying half to enduore some possibly annoying stuff...

The AMC City North is a fantastic place to see a movie. Like most (if not all) AMC theatres, they have stadium seating so the view is great. The seats are very comfortable. The screens are large, unlike some of the other theatres in the area. On Tuesdays, they offer deeply discounted movies and free popcorn. It can get very crowded on these nights though. The parking garage is also a nice convenience for this crowded area.
