Urban Insurance Agency

A friend at work told me about Urban Insurance. She said she's been using them for years "Try Them". I was glad that when I called Urban I could got to speak to a real living person. They answered my questions and gave me a good price; so all is cool. Just three weeks ago, I came out tomy car find someone had hit it and broke off my side mirror. I got an estimate but it turned out less than my deductible. When I told Urban insurance that I expected them to say; Since it's below your $500, there is nothing we can do; but instead the manager got on the phone and told me to fax him the estimate for the car. Later, after classes I get a call, the manager at urban tells me that the shop I used to get a price is one that they know and that he called the shop and got them to do the job for $90 less. It's not just the $90, (Though that helps) it's that they did not have to do that . As a teacher I always reward students for extra effort, same thing here. more

What nobody insured with Urban ever had an accident? Nobody has mentioned how the claim department is. Everyone is bragging about the money saved with this company.. How is their claims record? How long does it take to get your claim settled? more

Good: First let me clearly state that I am a representative of Urban Insurance Agency. As much, it is reasonable for one to question the objectivity of this review. If fact, this is NOT a review, it is an opportunity to thank our customers that have been nice enough to take their time to say positive things about Urban Insurance. Truth is, there are many very good Insurance agencies out there. Many of our closest competitors I have known for years, and over-all. Improvements: To state the obvious we are not perfect. We are always looking for ways to improve, and to better meet the needs of our customers- it was for this reason that I was reading what ever online comments about Urban that I could find. For example, per suggestions from customers, we have extended our hours on Saturday and changed our Voice mail system.. Other: Again, Thank you for allowing us to serve you for these past 49 years. With our customer's continued support, we plan to be here for years to come.. more

Im a happy customer at Urban company. My car had been towed to the pound. I need my car for to get to work. I checked a lot of places but urban insurance was less. A woman fax pound the papers showing i had what they needed. quick, nice and i save a lot of $ more

My insurance price went up when I got a new car. but when I called Urban insurace They were more than $275 less than what I was paying before I bought the new car. $426 less then Progressive wanted to renew my insurance. more

I found Urban Auto online but I saw a phone # so I just called them. A woman named Judy really took the timne to work out and explain different options. She took the time. In the end they were more than $350 less than my State Farm policy. more
