This place is SO GOOD! They've got almost every type of topping you could think of and they have a lot of different flavors of ice cream. They make sundaes for you where they fold in the toppings you choose with whatever flavor ice cream you want. Their sizes are called "like it", "love it" and "gotta have it". You can make your own creation or pick one off their menu. My favorite ice cream flavors include sweet cream, white chocolate, and cake batter and some of my favorite toppings are white chocolate chips, yellow cake, peanut butter cups and nuts! They give you a free cone on your birthday too if you sign up online!

Cold Stone Creamery is the best place in the entire area to get a good cup of ice cream. You can either choose from their own set "creations" or you can create your own creation. They have strawberry banana pie creation that is so delicious and amazingly tasty. I love how this ice cream is really rich and filled with flavor and rich ingrediants. Just be careful not to get too hooked to this stuff because no matter how good it tastes, its not so good for you.

Dairy Queen is a great place for their banana split sundaes. The hot fudge syrup tastes great on their creamy vanilla ice cream. I always visit here during the summer time. So its always pretty crowded with kids during the daytime and couples at night. Its a nice, small place. Its well kept and the service is exceptionally well here. There are always lots of people here, but they are quick and right at your service!

The peanut butter cup chocolate ice cream here was recently on one of Forbes' lists for one of the ten worst desserts you can eat (health wise). But despite that, I cannot get myself to stop going here. The ice cream here is just so good. What I like about this place is that it has some really unique ice cream flavors. So while I stop in at Baskin Robbins for my standard chocolate and vanilla flavors, I go here for the peanut butter cup and chocolate ice cream sorts. I believe it is good to indulge every once in a while!

Dairy Queen brings back a lot of childhood memories for me. They have such great, creamy ice cream here. I remember walking here on summer days and enjoying the cool ice cream. The best thing here is the vanilla ice cream cone dipped in the hardened chocolate. YUM! This place is still just like it used to be back in the day and you see people walking here wih their kids on hot, summer days and enjoying the delicoius ice cream.

I just discovered this place and can't wait to go back! I tried one of the custards and really, really liked it. The texture was perfect and the flavor was unique but not overwhelming. They also have great (iced) coffees so it is a nice place to go for a coffee in the area, too. The service was really great - friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this place and I can't wait to visit with friends.

We stoped by after a cheerleading competition my daughter was in at Navy Pier. We had a great lunch, the sandwiches were excellent and reasonable priced compared to everything else at Navy Pier. After the competiition we stoped back for dessert for the kids. A Baileys and coffee for me and a beer for my husband. One stop! Great Menu.

Good: The building, the ice cream, the service, watching the people coming for a special treat, mmmmmmm the ICE CREAM!. Bad: I REALLY can NOT think of anything I did or do not like. Too many Wonderful memories.. Improvements: An ORC in Colorado Springs!. Other: My father won a malt machine from ORC -when the store was first opened. Our Dad and Mom took us often as kids. We took our kids - even though we live in Colorado Springs. When we visit the family we all go for a Rainbow Cone. And we have taken our GRANDkids too. NOW our daughter lives and works in downtown Chicago and called me so excited as ORC is going to be just a few blocks from her job on Randolph. I pray our GRANDkids will be taking their GRANDkids some day. Keep the MMMMMMMMemories happening! Thanks!.
