Soup is what this place seems to stress as its best item on the menu. But I beg to differ. During the summer, this place becomes the Ice Box, when they sell fresh italian ice. This place is just amazing during that time. They still have the soup, but pass that and go for one of their fresh flavored italian ice cups. They are flavorful and totally cool ( in all senses ). This is one of my favorite stops in the summer and it is a very cool and refreshing place to be.

This place used to have excellent lobster bisque A couple years ago; this was a yummy place to stop for soup on a cold winter day. And they had good service too. Recently, it’s all pretty much gone down hill. Their prices have risen and their quality has gone down. Their soups are not as full flavor as they used to be and their service isn’t as friendly as it used to be. I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Just kidding, the people here are generally nice. It is a good atmosphere with great soup. The potato leak makes it hard to try anything else, but you have to. During the summer it turns into Ice Box. This is when soup is a secondary, and they make fresh Italian ice. Those low on cash can just keep walking by the store grabbing the free samples that they give out on the sidewalk. The lemons have lemon peels cut up in it that are actually pretty good to eat. It only sounds weird.

This is the place to get a hearty bowl of soup. I have never actually been to the restaurant itself, but have ordered from here many times. It is the perfect place to call when you are not feeling so good and need a nice, hot bowl of soup. They will deliver you just that, a nice hot bowl of soup. They have lots of different kinds to choose from, but the chicken noodle has gotten me hooked. I believe the turn this place into the "ice box" during the summer and serve ice cream here.

If you love soup, you have to try Soupbox. All their soups are homemade, and they have a rotating daily selection, as well as staples that are always available. Sidle up to the table covered with black soup cauldrons and sample as many as you like before choosing a soup. A generous portion of bread is provided with each soup order. Love bread? Just ask for more and they'll gladly give you extra.

A variety of great soups, made fresh each day, and reasonably priced. I'm not sure if the types of soups change, but they always seem to have some type of chicken, some type of potato, and some type of clam chowder, among there many other types. They have tables inside, benches outside, or you can take it to go. Bread comes free with all soup. They also have a wide variety of sorbets. Light and perfect for hot weather.
