This is a really nice hotel to stay in Chicago. It is not as expensive as the W or Palmer house Hilton, but it is comparable in greatness. The rooms here are so comfortable. The beds are amazing, with lots of soft and huge pillows. Service is excellent too.
If you don't go here to stay, make sure to eat here anyways. They have a great reastaurant in the lobby that serves up a mean breakfast! They have a pretty lobby too!

I have stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott several times and it functions nicely as an apartment-style property for business travelers. Each of the rooms is like a studio apartment, with a large kitchen and sofabed. You can enjoy your free breakfast buffet in the main lounge and read your free copy of USA Today.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting someone who goes to UIC or lives/works in the medical district! You know its a nice hotel because its a Marriott and they have an all you can eat pasta special for lunch everyday! Its nice to be outside of downtown if you're a returning visitor and don't want to deal with the giant crowds!

This was my first experience with this particular hotel. It was quite nice. It is an old hotel, built in 1927. It has a lot of old elegance. The lobby of the hotel is very nice. Our room was nice too, very clean. It was decorated in an older, antique look. It had all of the modern amenites that we need though, hair dryer, iron and coffee maker.
The staff at the hotel was great too. They helped us quickly with our bags and check in and check out was very fast. They were also great enough to hold our bags for us after we checked out since we did not have to leave for our train for a few hours.
I really enjoyed this hotel and would consider it next time I am in the Chicago area.

This little Inn is a hot spot in Lincoln Park. It is centrally located on Diversey, so you're close to the shops, the lake, the huge park, and all the shopping.
My friends have stayed here and I have gone to visit several times. The rooms are really very much like motel rooms, with just the basics. It is kept clean. They don't offer room service but the maids to a very prompt and efficient cleaning job.
This place is probably more reasonably priced and a better bet than some of the bigger hotels downtown.

WE SPENT THE WEEKEND AT THE RAPHAEL HOTEL AND LOVED IT. IT'S WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF "OLD TOWN" AND CLOSE TO MICHIGAN AVENUE SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS. WE TOOK THE TRAIN SO PARKING WAS NOT AN ISSUE. THERE WAS A SIGN POSTED IN THE HOTAL THAT READ $40.00/24 HOUR PARKING WHICH IS QUITE EXPENSIVE EVEN FOR CHICAGO. THE ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE SIZE WITH TWO DOUBLE BEDS AND INCLUDED A COFFEE MAKER AND MICROWAVE. THE BATHROOM WAS DIFFERENT - THERE IS NO SHOWER DOOR, SO THE FLOOR DID GET A LITTLE WET. THERE IS ALSO A SHELF BUILT ABOVE THE SINK WHICH MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO USE THE SINK FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN WASHING YOUR HANDS. ALL IN ALL, WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

What I appreciate about this hotel is location,location. I adorable Chicago in the fall and I love to stroll down the magnificent mile. It feels amazing walking on mile that of year. I would definitely recommend them. Because of location.
