If you're a student on a budget, do not hesitate to go here. This is the best place in Chicago to furnish your living place from.
I have bought almost everything from here. Their furniture is pretty inexpensive and very durable. I also think it looks really nice too. One thing that kind of sucked though was that my bedroom set came unassembled. It had so many different parts and pieces to it and it took me forever to assemble! But it turned out great so I was pretty happy.
The store is huge and you can find almost anything for your home here. Did I mention how reasonably priced it is?

This place is real nice for furniture. Its 4 stories with alll types of furniture and home equipment. This is a fun place to go to to just browse around. The prices are all real cheap. Also, it has a cafe that has real good ice cream and sandwiches. So if you don't need furniture, make sure to go here for lunch! Hot dogs here are only 97 cents!

This place has such awesome furniture. The prices can't be beat. The only downfalls are that they are few and far between, there are not too many locations for you to visit, you can order stuff from the website, but you will pay an arm and leg for shipping. The other downfall is that you have to put the furniture together yourself, it comes unassembled. It is so worth it though, you get the stuff at such a steal.

This place has everything. You can get chairs, tables, glasses, plants, candles... whatever. Every time I go here I make sure to pick up a couple bags of tea lights. You get a hundred of those for about three dollars. Last Thanksgiving there were so many people coming over and we were going to be getting paper cups. Instead we went here and payed a little more, but got all glass. They were dirt cheap, and we gave them away when we were done using them. No more cleaning the dishes!

The ultimate place for furniture and home furnishings! I furnished my entire apartment here for under $1000! It is a great place to get cute accessories for your wall, basic furniture, and lots of other things you need like lamps, utensils, etc... Don't let the price fool you, the furniture is pretty high quality! Its worth the drive but try to go at an off time because it can get ridiculously crowded!
