A few months ago, I locked myself out of my running car! This place really saved my day. I found them randomly out of the yellow pages, but they arrived within twenty minutes and within minutes, they had my car open. No damages to my car either. The person that came was grea, he really knew what he was doing. They were certianly a life saver. It did cost me a good chunk of money, but I guess that's what I get for my mistake. At least I got great service for my money.

Our gutters had to be replaced urgently due to one of the side gutters almost falling off the building. We contracted this company to replace all the gutters on our house. I was very pleased with the job they done in replacing them, even though they had a setback with a few rainy days that disturbed their work. The price that we were charged for the replacement of the gutters was average. But I was prepared to pay extra for a reputable company that did a good job, which is what I got. The people installing the gutters left no mess and made sure everything was completed properly before they left. A job well done with great customer service.

Let me preface my review by stating that for a number of years I sold ski equipment for one of those suburban "Everything under one roof " sports store.
But when It came to BUYING MY OWN ski equipment .....Forget the employee discount ........I went to Viking Ski Shop on Fullerton Avenue.
Speaking as a ski enthusiast, I want ski boots that truly fit my performance and comfort needs. The vast inventory at Vikings caters to all sizes, all performance levels, and all price brackets.. I have always been impressed with the selection of different brands in both their ski and snowboards departments.
FWIW, I'm a bitch to properly fit in a ski boot. Age and arches have taken their toll. The Viking sales staff was conscience of my requisites while directing me to the right boot..
I needed technical help with canting, padding and shell stretching. Ignore the old adage.....Size does matter!! Many ski shops correct these problems by just selling you a larger boot or thicker socks. That's just plain wrong!
These custom services can't be found in the "boot in a box" store or Internet sites. Extra attention to comfort consumes time and labor from a knowledgeable staff and the necessary apparatus to facilitate fit adjustments. Vikings has both.
Having skied a thousand trails has allowed me to ski with folks who exhausted early because they were swimming in their Nordicas. They couldn't carve a turn on their new high tech skies because of extreme arch pain or frozen toes. My advise to them
"" If I you're going to invest big bucks into airfare, lodging and lift tickets (let alone vacation time) then buy a decent fitting boot and if it requires a custom footbed........so be it. ""
BTW, there's more than one brand of footbed so a pro shop can get you into the right one.
In my idle observations, the boot is the most vital component of ski comfort and performance. Thats why I take the time to journey past the other shops to by from the best. That's why myself, my friends , my ski club, and my family patronize Viking Ski shop.

This is a large area with many types of home repair services. I have bought windows here for my job and they are always done quickly and work just great. Their prices are reasonable, though you do have to remove the window and bring it in, which is a pain. Still, we have been very happy with the service overall.

They are always realiable and reasonably priced. This is one of their older stores. They have all your hardware needs covered. The deals here are amazing. I check their sales flyer from time to time also. If you are building a patio or deck you may want to stop by here and check this store out.

This hardware store looks like it would be tiny from the outside, but upon entering you will find that is not the case. They may not be a giant store like some of their competitors, but have all of your basic hardware needs and more. Pretty decent sales are offered here and of course you can have keys made here. I think I saw Tim Allen in here last week!

Have you ever gone in to get keys made and end up spending over $50 on misc stuff from a hardware store? Maybe I should have never watched any episodes of "Home Improvement" or "This Old House". I go in a hardware store and lo and behold the Tim Taylor in me comes out (minus the grunting sounds). This is one of the better True Values in town. Many have gone out of busines and some of those that are left are struggling because of stores like Home Depot.

When spring is around this is one of my favorite place in the city to buy plant for our garden, because it is not as busy as home depot, the price is right and they have pretty good plants for sale. We have luck finding many beautiful roses to plant in our garden from this store in the past.

Purchased a lock two years ago, and the lock no longer works and cannot locate the receipt. The young lady at check-out told me there's nothing she can do without the receipt, even though it's an Ace Hardware product and has a full lifetime warranty. Called and spoke to the manager - he told me to bring it in and he would exchange it, but refused to do so when I returned to the store. I'm not looking for a refund - I only want to exchange the lock that no longer works for one that does, per the warranty.
