Zorba's is three places in one. The front is a fast-food joint, the middle a sit-down restaurant full of students, police officers and hospital workers of all races, and in the back is a bar featuring a jukebox stocked with soul and R&B and a pinball machine. A 10 percent discount on food is offered to UIC students. Open 24 hours a day.

Zest is all about flavor! It’s like taking a culinary journey around the world without leaving Chicago. I love the modern décor and chartreuse leather chairs. But most of all, I love the food. My personal favorite is the grilled pizza of the day! But you have to try the Caesar salad with spiced grill chicken breast. And if you decide to drop in for dinner try the Filet Mignon and mashed potatoes with grilled balsamic glazed red onions and blue cheese butter. Although the restaurant is connected to the Inter-Continental Hotel along Michigan Avenue, it’s anything but a tourist spot. I generally wander in after a long day of shopping, but anytime is good time to stop and eat.

Besides having some of the best ice cream in Chicago, this place has come up with some unique ice cream creations. Their portions are huge so it's best to bring a friend or two along to share your ice cream with. The prices are good and the service is fast and friendly.

My friends and I always go to Zentra for the free cocktail hour (usually 9-10pm) and have a good time. The atmosphere is very cool, with middle-eastern hints to it. The downside to Zentra is the music. It's always so repetitive and boring. I usually don;t see many people dancing there, because the music is hard to dance to.

but we're not talking about regular, Mexican-american type mexican, no: this is fairly upscale, definately fresh, simple ingredients that make the food delicious but certainly not cheap.
I wish it were a little cheaper, but I'd definately go there anyway- you get this fresh, homemade salsa, chips and tortillas and, for a little extra, try the guacamole- delicious.
And, the best flan I've ever had, I think!

This is a Pakistani/Indian sweets, snack, and fast food cafe kind of place. One of my friends recommended that I have their kabob roll here because it is really good and not too expensive. So when I went I could not even stay here for less than a minute. It was so hot in this place and it stank really bad. It was hard for me to even stay long enough to order my food. Maybe i will ask my friend to pick it up for me next time so I can try it.

This place has somehow resisted the glamourization of Wicker Park, leaving an actual neighborhood bar right on Division Street. People sit at the bar. Many of the patrons were speaking Polish to the bartender. Zywiec was abundant.
