Tahoora located on Chicago's busy Devon Ave, is definitely a one of a kind Indian eatery on the whole strip. Even though they specialize in an assortment of traditional Indian sweets, they also make newer east-meets-west types of sweets and that are bound to make your taste buds spring to life. If you have a hankering for kabobs, samosas, and other Indian delicacies that are inexpensive and exceptionally tasty, stop by Tahoora and bring your family and friends to introduce them a different type of Indian eatery.

This place has Indian sweets. It is a very well kept little cafe. It is nice and clean and the service is great. Their food is always fresh and you can even taste test some of their products before buying! Be careful though -- it is hard to find parking in the area!

Usmania has the worst service out of all the restaraunt I have been to.They also do not have very good food,sometimes their food will be good other times it will be very bad.Usmania does not have Air Conditioning in their restaraunt either,so at times when you go hear pick a day which is not tooo warm and too cold.

Tiffin is one of the best restaurants on devon ave. It offers not only great food but also great ambiance, which is not met by any other Indian restaurant on Devon. The offer lunch buffet which is pretty elaborate with a great menu. There a a lot of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes available. Tiffin is also great for dinners. You can order most of the items offered in the lunch buffet plus more. My favorite is their lamb achari. It is a combination of pickle masala and lamb. I also recommend their tandoori roti against the usual naan. Also worth trying are their gulab jamuns.

WHEN YOUR FOOD ARRIVES THEY BRING OUT FONDUE POTS AND THEN YOU HAND DIP YOUR FOOD INTO POT'S OF VARIES MELTED CHEESE ETC....NOT BIG PORTIONS ON FOOD,BUT IT TASTE GOOD...STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND PRETTY QUICK WITH OUR ORDERS. This is a must-visit seafood restaurant if you're in the Lincoln Park area. The place is frequently packed with patrons, and it's a pretty fun environment to be in. Like the other reviewer said, the lollipop hidden under food is pretty funny and endearing. Go on a day when they have good specials, and you won't regret it.

Big burgers served with fries for only $1 on Mondays -- but you have to (oh darn) order a drink as well. This really is a great deal. The outdoor seating is the best, the interior is a little narrow and claustrophobic. They also have a great buffet on Sunday's but that is a little pricier.

I've been to this place a few times and I don't think it is good at all. The service is bad and the restaurant itself is not really well kept. The food is not to great either -- its okay on some days and terrible on others. It is also pretty expensive and it is not worth the money spent.

Chipotle seems to be a the new hot thing in the fast food world. But for me, this place is nothing special. I actually picked up a meal from here for me and my husband. The food seemed really bland and the tacos were soggy and not good tasting at all. I think the tacos could definitely have used more cheese and the guacomole seemed tasteless to me. Perhaps I should try eating in next time, but that one experience has been enough to keep me away for a long time.

Ok so this is probably the best place in the city to get ice cream. The 'create your own creation' factor really is awesome. I mean where else can I make up weird combinations and watch them be made right in front of me? Banana ice cream, brownie chunks, fresh strawberries, pecans, and chocolate syrup - that's my best creation yet!
But I gotta dock one star here for the service. I mean this people actually sing! And its not the singing that makes you want to tap your feet. When they sing cheesy songs in off tune voices asking for a tip, I feel like taking their tip jar away!
