Wildfire is one of my favorite special occassion restaurants. I love to come here and have their delicious steaks and awesome salads. The steaks here are really up to par and it is hard to find something that great anywhere else. They also have a great selection of seafood here and a reallly delish dessert menu. The service at this restaurant is top notch and the prices are what make it one of those special occassion restaurants and not somewhere where you would go on a daily basis.

Wildfire is mediocre, in service and food. Highly attractive to out-of-towners, the food is still decent in taste and portion but overpriced. THere are better steak places. I have really been disappointed in the service--the servers seem tired and/or bored. My girlfriends and I went recently and felt like we were being ignored--and no one around us seemed to be getting "special treatment" either so I'm not sure where our server was diverting his energy to. The wine selection, on the other hand, is solid.

This is a top-notch steak restaurant. Anything you get will be good, from the chopped salad, to the horseradish crusted steak, to the warm cookie dessert of bowl of berries w/an oatmeal cookie. Great romantic ambience, wonderful place for a date, anniversary or job promotion celebration. On the expensive side.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a dinner here, and allowed to order anything on the menu. I started with the French onion soup, which was deliciously unique and cheesy. They even had a scrumptious slice of fresh bread at the bottom of the bowl. I couldn't help but devour the entire huge bowl. I hardly had room for my salmon but just had to try. The crusted salmon came served on a wooden plank with the most beautiful presentation of mashed potatoes. The garlicky mashed potatoes are really really good! Wildfire also has a great selection of wine,mixed drinks and outstanding desserts. Not to mention the meat. Most people would go for the steak, which is also delicious! (incidentally, I think that the steak is priced below Gibson's and just as good). The atmosphere is loud but relaxed. Not romantic, but fun for friends! Try it!!!

Wildfire is a great restaurant that serves top notch seafood and steak. I love the filet with a parmesan crust. They also serve a great chopped salad that's generous and fresh. Another favorite are their crabcakes, and being originally from Maryland, that means a lot! The dessert tray looks delicious but I've never been able to partake since I'm always way too full after dinner.

If you love to eat steak, then this is the best place to go in Chicago. They serve up the best steak here. But save this one for a special occassion, because it is quite expensive. But you get exactly what you pay for. You get a really tasty steak in a really sophisticated restaurant. The service here is excellent too. So, if you are looking for a great restaurant for a special occassion, then this is a great place to go because you will get great food and that too in a really great atmosphere.

This is a really expensive restaurant, but it is apparent why. The ambiance of this place is really amazing. And the food is amazing. I ordered a steak and it was definitely one of the best I have had in the city. The waiter we had was great. She was very attentive and always on hand for any requests we may have. I would definitely recommend this place for a great meal and a really fine dining experience. I also think this makes for a great place for any of those special occassions, like birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Wildfire is a steakhouse that is an excellent value. My husband always enjoys the filet with horseradish or blue cheese. The seafood is great as well and I love that you get a full head of freshly steamed broccoli as a side They also have an excellent martini and wine list. You can view the chefs in action from the dining room. The service is fabulous. However, the desserts are only mediocre.
