I came across this "raiting system" after I closed my loan with Lakeshore. And I have to say my experience with them was fantastic. This is the third time I have closed on a condo purchase in the city of Chicago and also my third mortgage broker. But, now I will be sticking with Lakeshore if I need any further mortgage help. I have also referred several of my friends and co-workers to my the Loan officer I worked with, Adam Blake. He was referred to me by my Real Estate agent, who said he would do a great job and he did. We used Lakeshore Funding for our original mortgage nearly two years ago. It was a great rate then, but we refinanced a few weeks ago to fix the rate on the 2nd mortgage. Once again, our agent came through and got us a fabulous rate. He even came with us to the closing for the refinance in case we had any questions. Picked up most costs on the refi. They send out a monthly newsletter with helpful homeowner tips that has been surprisingly informative as well. We found them through our realtor, and several friends have subsequently gone through them as well.
