I don't know if it was actually a temple at one time. It looks like it may have been with it's dome top and cool architecture. If it was a temple it was many years ago. I remeber attending the circus here once about 10 years ago. It took them 3 years to gut this place out and rehab it into what it is today; a beautiful but overpriced dept. store. It is worth visiting and maybe you should treat yourself to a (one) pricey designer item, not a couch, sheets or a towel set maybe.Yes, couch, they sell furniture on the top floor.

Bloomingdale's is a great store with many quality items. Most of the things they sell are all designer items, so you will be paying a pretty high price for whatever it is you buy. But everything they have here is really nice and trendy. I actually don't come here as much for the shopping as I do to admire this beautiful building. This store is situated in what used to be an old Temple and it has a very beautiful desing. You can actually see the Arab influence to this building and some writing in Arabic along the sides of the building. If nothing else, go check out the design of this building!
