Target is "the man" and part of the problem. But what are we going to do about it, so is Wal-Mart, K-mart etc... We need to look for sales and save money. They are a great store overall where you can get so many things on your list. Everything from grocerys to air conditioners ,sports equipment, to computer products.
They are going to keep building these very successful stores whether folks like it or not, so go there stock up and split.

This is a really big Target store. I just love the selection they have here. Their shelves are always filled with great sales and lots of clearance items. But even if an item is not out for clearance, the prices are still reasonable. Moreover, this is not your typical Kmart like store where everything is of cheap quality. Here, they have items that are really of high quality and definitely a steal for the price. I especially love their home goods section because they have quality stuff at really low prices. There is ample parking here too, which is always a bonus when shopping!

This has become my favorite Target location because is has easy access with no traffic around. This target is clean and organized, the staff on floor are nice, but when it comes to their cashiers, it is another different story. Most of them don't know what coupons to accept or not and they did not even know how to use formula check that the formula company send to their costumer.

This Target store is one of the larger ones around the Chicago area and probably the one that is the most busy. Even though this Target is hectic I personally consider it my favorite because of the variety and the sales. When they mark things down at this target they really mark things down. It is nothing unusual to see things on the clearence rack at 75 percent off. I mean who can really beat that kind of price.

Of the 3 Target stores in the Chicago area (that I know of) this is the most busy, most crowded, most hectic of them all. But, you can certainly get a good deal on almost anything you need. They have a dollar spot up front where everything is a dollar...keep an eye on this spot because it does go to 75% off (or 25cents) every month or so.

Target sells a lot of cool stuff that you won't find at Target or Walmart. I really like their kitchenware selection - they have a lot of nifty designs at good prices. You can also find a lot of home furnishings, from wastebaskets to coffee tables. It's a great place to go because you can pick up some toilet paper while you shop for new wineglasses.

I realize that Target has a lot of very affordable merchandise on their shelves. I've also shopped here in the past. Unfortunately, Target has allowed its pharmacists the right to refuse emergency contraceptives to women.
According to a press release, Target pharmacists are required to fill all prescriptions except EC. Pharmacists can request another on-duty pharmacist to fill EC prescriptions if they have “sincerely held religious beliefs.” Customers cannot be denied their prescriptions, although pharmacists are not required to fill them. (reference from: http://www.pittnews.com/vnews/display.v/ART/2006/03/02/44069f52c12a1)
Emergency contraceptives need to be taken in a certain time period. What happens if the next pharmacy is too far away or the person is on their lunch break and because they are an hourly employee with no or little insurance, they can't afford to take any more time off? The scenarios are numerous.
Frankly, I will not support a business that takes such a stance. It is backwards, it is gender bias, and it is mere steps away from additional policies that allow other prescriptions to be denied to customers.
