This is a great place to go and pick up bulk treats for your family! Over Easter I went here and got some great treats for the entire family. They had lots to choose from, like jelly beans and chocolate eggs. They also have lots of other things like chocolate covered nuts and gummi candy. One of my favorite things to do is walk over here on a summer day and get a nice cup of ice cream from them and then sit out on the tables and enjoy it while people watching! The kids love it as well!

Wonderful swedish bakery! A colleague at work brings us pastries every Thursday (thats when they put out all new pastries in preparation for the weekend) and they are all SO good! Some even have fresh strawberries. My favorite might be the ones that look like pretzels but have almonds all over them! You have to try them!

I think this is a good place to stop at to pick up some dessert after a date. They have chocolate in all different shapes and sizes. But more than that, I like their chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered pretezels. The chocolate here is some of the best I have every tried. It is really rich. They also do custom orders for special occassions. You just have to go in and ask for a catalog and then order with the workers.

I really love Teuscher's chocolate champagne truffles. I received a box of them as a gift and ever since I have been hooked. They are some of the best chocolate I have ever had. The store is intimate and well done. I really enjoy going there and buying myself a box of the champagne truffles just to treat myself. If you are ever shopping at Bloomingdales, stop at Teuscher before you leave the building, it is well worth it.

This is an excellent place to go for ice cream. They have a special flavor of the day everyday, but there's one flavor that I just can't get enough of. That flavor is the brownie explosion, which is made up of chocolate and lots of brownies. They have a ton of flavors to choose from and most of them are really a must try. The shop is really cute and they carry a bunch of items here, but the ice cream is hard to pass over.

It says right on their door "open to the public" because on approaching this out of the way store that's located in a business center strip mall, you're not so sure. Once inside you will find great deals and certainly no-frills. The great deals are on all kinds of peanuts, candys and a few gift items. They sell mostly in bulk and by the pound. You will enjoy their huge selection and pretty reasonable prices.

Sabri Sweets is owned and managed by the same people as Sabri Nihari restaurant across the street.
It really is not comparison to Sabri Nehari. They have a wide selection of snacks and sweets, but everything is mediocre in terms of quality and taste. The only thing I really enjoyed here was their special tea, which was tea with a spicy twist. It is a clean and well kept place and they are pretty reasonably priced too.

They're gigantic. They're outrageously tasty. They're served in huge glass clamshells. No wonder the beatles went there after their one of their Chicago Shows.
It's filled with pictures of Margie and her family, old, authentic memorobelia and candy, candy, candy. Though I've never tried the candy, I have had their sundaes and sodas and a sandwich (theyve got food, too) and I deem it delicious.

You will feel like you stepped back in time and into a really old fashioned candy shop when you come into this store. I think this place has been around for a very long again. It is a very cute place, with lots of yummy and sweet delights. The milkshakes and caramels here are some of the best I have had in my life. But the shop is small and seating inside is really limited. Also, the shop inside is not all that great so you might not even want to sit inside but rather just pick up a bunch of goodies and go.

If you're a chocoholic, then Margie's Candies will make your day. Margie's is a traditional ice cream soda fountain, with just enough kitsch to make your sundae taste that much better. Prices are pretty reasonable, and the menu itself is rather extensive. One of my friends is an absolute dessert nut, and he salivates at the mention of Margie's.
