It is a good place if you're not sure what you want and start sampling, but you can get things cheaper in the surrounding ethic groceries in China Town.

They do have a lot of selection at Aji Ichiban that you can taste. (Makes a good snack after shopping). For those of you that love dried squid, its like squid heaven. however, I don't recommend you buy anything since the same items can be found at local grocery stores in the area and in the square, prepackaged and much cheaper if you just look around.
There are some things that you can't find elsewhere, liek the fried crabs so youd just have to suck it up and pay the $10 or so.
