Blommer's has just the right chocolate for cooking and baking. In addition to the treats they make, Blommer's offers bulk chocolate in package sizes for the home cook or baker. They have several differnt types of dark and milk chocolate, with increasing levels of chocolate percentages. It is easy to find just the right type of quality chocolate for the product I'm making at home, from truffles to mole sauces

I used to take the 56 Milwaukee bus all the time to and from Michigan Avenue. As I would get within a mile of Blommer's, I would stick my head out the window to get a whiff of that wonderful armoma filling the air. You can literally get a sugar high just by driving past the place. It's wonderful. During the week you can visit their little store and pick up bulk chocolate, candy kisses, chocolate cigars (for passing out when the wee ones are born) and all kinds of other chocolate treats for a great price. And it's fresh off the factory line and always yummy.

You can smell the delicious scent of chocolate in the air for blocks around Blommer's because this small retail store is attached to their factory. All the chocolates and candys are made in their factory and some are sold at their store. They distribute their products to stores and restaurants thru-out the area also. At the store you can buy items by the piece or by the pound, the prices are very fair. I don't think they give tours of the factory but next time I think I'll ask. Please no Willy Wonka jokes!
