This place has one of the tightest parking lots in Lake View. I had someone back right up in to my car, because they couldn't see outside of their spot correctly. The way that this lot is set up is bad, because you can't back up if something like this is happening with the incoming traffic. Other than that, the coffee shop itself is a typical Caribou with good coffee and a relaxed atmosphere.

Something humorous about this place is that it has a parking lot, but it is always full. So for those that are driving... good luck. I like their atmosphere, because it is cozy, but in my opinion the coffee and service is better a block down at Starbucks. One cool thing is that they encourage you to play games like chess while sitting down. Bring a friend and a couple hours.

Caribou, along with other coffee shops like Starbucks are all overpriced for what you get. Nice clean, warm, friendly environment. They just need a drive-through.

I'm a big fan of Caribou Coffee. It sure beats the overplayed Starbucks that you find on every street corner in Chicago. The coffee here seems to me to be a bit less strong and a lot better tasting. My favorite drink here is the turtle mocha; the combination of coffee, chocolate, and turtle candy is amazingly delicious. They also have a good assorment of snacks here. For a fresh change from Starbucks, I would really recommend this place. You will be sure to enjoy it.

Caribou cafe is friendly, and anything is a good alternative to the free market's arch nemesis, starbucks, ugh. Caribou is all over the city, and the coffee is nice. The hot chocolate is okay (not as good as moonstruck). If you're going to go, I'd suggest a chai latte- I think that Caribou has great chai, though I'm not sure if it's fresh or comes from a mix or whatever. Nor do I care because good Chai is good Chai, and that's enough for me!
