This is the best place to get coffee quick downtown in the morning. The other local competitors move too slowly for me and my fast paced life. I can't stand it when you are in a hurry looking for that quick caffeine fix and the person behind the counter is talking to the customer in front of them instead of getting my cup and sending me on my way. A+ for response time.

Caribou coffee on LaSalle is a real gem. The staff is always perky and very friendly. It is a clean, inviting, shop with many options to choose from. If you are a die hard coffee drinker they have a fabulous dark roast. The light roast is also a good choice. There are a ton of teas and frozen drinks to choose from too. The baked goods are amazing. A favorite is the low-fat blueberry muffin. It is moist and full of blueberries. There are usually about 15 choices for baked goods and the variety changes frequently. I highly recommend giving caribou a try. You will be greeted with a friendly smile and have a yummy pick-me-up snack any time of day!
