I have gone for coffee here a few times and it is always too packed. One of the positive parts of this place is that the atmosphere when not packed is very lively and easy to hang out in. The people who work here are always nice and relaxed. This is a nice place to sit down and watch Clark Street go by in front of you.

I have spent a good amount of time at this coffee shop. The employees are great, the atmosphere is calm and it is a good place to people watch over Lincoln Park. The downfall is that it has tight quarters. At the wrong time of day you will have trouble just getting in and out. Take a friend and ask for the checkers.

Caribou coffee is GREAT. Much better than Starbucks. The staff are as friendly as the baristas at SB, and the prices are very similar, unfortunately. Still, if you have one close by, you really should check it out. My husband prefers this over SB. Every time I try a new flavor, I have a new favorite.
