As a confirmed and diagnosed shopaholic, I not only love to shop, but Iove great sales and great quality. Carson's department store really does have it all, and you can find some nice sales here pretty often too. My mother and I will arrive really early on a Saturday morning, clenching our Frappacinos and filing through racks of clothes. We always seem to find styles that will fit everyone in the family.

Carsons is a great department store. They have some really nice jerelwery and clothes. The prices are much lower than Marshal Fields and Nordstroms. Also the service here is really good too. The people are really friendly and helpful. This place always has sales going on. I love their yellow dot sales. Thats when I get stuff really cheap. Also, Carsons always has coupons in the sunday paper. This is a great place for the family to shop!! They have got everything!

I always buy my suits from here. My daily wear suits need to be durable and still not too expensive and this place really does the trick for me. They have a great section in here dedicated just for suits. They have a huge selection and they carry many designer names, like Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, and more. What I like about this place is that everything is reasonably priced. They even throw in a free tailoring with every suit purchase. They'll measure you right there and then have it tailored for you. So when you pick it up, its ready to wear! I know they have lots of other things here too, like housewares and stuff for women, but its my need for suits that brings me in here most often.

Carson's has been around a long time and it has this classic feel to it. The store has good quality people clothing, the atmosphere and the great variety of household items and furnishings. They are a competitor of Marshall Fields and they try really hard to keep up with them. I'm sure Carson's has its own customers that are loyal to them. I enjoy shopping here and think overall it's a very good store with a lot to offer.

I think this is one of the best places to shop in the city for some really quality items. I go in here often and always find a new stock of items. They are constantly getting new things here in all the different departments. Their yellow dot sales are definitely something to look forward too because they slash prices on things so low that they are sometimes over 75% off! I love their selection of shoes and purses here especially. They carry lots of great shoes and bags here that are super stylish and really trendy. The customer service here is great as well and the people working here will always help you find things you need or locate them in other locations as well.

I like to shop at the flagship Carson Pirie Scott department store at the center of the Loop. I feel like I am supporting a great work of architecture, as it was designed by Louis Sullivan. They are rehabilitating the top cornice of the building, which should somehow improve the external appearance of the building even more. There are always suitcases on sale on the lower level, and recently I bought a decent sports coat for 90 percent off.

Back in the day, it was Fields, Carsons, and Sears. Now Sears is long gone from State Street, Fields is becoming Macys, but Carsons is still truckin' along as its same old sweet self. This is a a Chicago institution, a classic department store. Louis Sullivan designed the incredible facade which stands at the zero point of the Chicago street system, State and Madison. 1906 is when the facade dates from, so we are talking some serious longevity here folks.
