I used to really hate driving all the way out to Midway to catch a flight. But I went there recently to pick a friend who was flying into Chicago up and I was so surprised. This airport has really been renovated over the years and made into a really nice place. It is a very relaxed airport, with not much rush or traffic. The flights going out of this airport are limited but, boy, can you find some great deals flying in and out of this airport. This is a great alternative to O'hare!

Come on, let's show CTA some love! They are not perfect by any means. But when I need to use them once in a while, I am very grateful they are there. When I was in between vehicles a couple years ago, I took CTA all the time. Considering the price of gas and the fact that you could go all the way from the end of Evanston to the South side of Chgo for 2 bucks makes you realize we have one of the best public transit systems in the country. The new fare cards seem to be working out well these days also.
If you don't like waiting too long for buses, call them or get a route schedule; they are usually not off by much. It will help a lot, especially in winter.

If you have spent enough time in Chicago, you have probably seen the Perillo Motors' commercials with Mr. Perillo himself as the star.
This auto retailer is retailer of one of the finest luxury cars. They have a great selection here and I like to browse through (even though I really cannot afford any of them).
But if you are looking into buying yourself a nice Beemer or another car of that sort, I would really suggest this dealer because you will get an awesome selection and great service.

Unlike with the CTA, I am pretty impressed with the Metra. It sure makes a commute between the city and the suburbs smooth, fast, and easy.
Of course, you get your ocassional quacks here too, but I find it much less frequent here. They are also better priced and better in terms of cleanliness and timliness.
No can't the CTA learn a few lessons from this great Metra transportation system we have here?

The people who work in here are very nice and don't treat you like a child if you are still relatively young. I was looking at a C class a while ago and the guy who was helping me was patient and gave me all of the information that I was looking for. There were no cheap tricks or pleas to get me to purchase right then and there. He just helped me search for my next car.

This place is so cheap its amazing!! They have lots of fresh produce here and it is all great. Its a pretty big place and has a large selection of products, including many Indian grocery items as well. The place is always well stocked and there are never any really long checkout lines, which is always good when you are in a hurry!

This is a neat place to check out if you need to rent any sort of electronic equipment. They carry it all adn all of their rentals are in top notch shape. Their rental charges are reasonable too and at most times, a lot less costly then actually buying the product. They do not deliver the equipment, so you will have to pick up and drop off whatever you rent on your own. Nevertheless, their service here is great and they carry some really useful and well kept stuff.

Boy, if Travis Bickle did work for this company, that would be a very bad thing, wouldn't it?! (A Taxi Driver reference, just in case you were wondering...) For a couple years, we were without a car so at times we would call a taxi. After using several other services, I found this one to be the very best. The drivers are fast, friendy and courteous. A few were even exceptional. Many of them own their own vehicle and went out of their way to help out, carrying bags or luggage, whatever they could to be more helpful. I would even call them during blizzards and they would still show up. Excellent company.
