In spite of many negative reviews I have seen here, I just had an excellent transaction with Gandhi Appliances. My DVD player arrived in less than a week after order was placed. Exactly what I ordered. No problems here.

Radio Shack is a good store for electronic items. The people here are real friendly and helpful. You always have someone there asking if you need help or what you're looking for. It is kind of nice, but can be annoying at times as well. This particular location is real small. There are others nearby too; those are pretty small as well. This store can get real crowded during the weekends. This is not my favorite store. I would rather go to Circuit City or Best Buy.

Circuit City definately has their good and bad features. Myself personally I have typically had good expierences with Circuit City and things like returns or even receiving rebates and such. I have heard from my friends and family however that I am the minority in this respect.On the plus side Circuit City has a huge variety of products and a knowledgeable staff combined with good prices.

Another one of the many places to get insanely cheap electronics in the area. They carry mostly household electronics -- like blenders, rice cookers, and the like. But they have a good selection and the prices are of course great. Check out their stock of suitcases as well -- not the best quality stuff, but so low priced, that you can use them once and discard them!"

Whenever I have questions on anything from phone chargers to electronic equipment, it seems that the employees at radio shack always have the answers for me. I have asked for their recommendations several times in the past and always found them to be extremely honest and knowledgeable and helpful in saving me a lot of money. The selection at this store is very good and the prices are competitive.
