The changes at U.S. Cellular Field have turned a so-so stadium into the finest place in Chicago to watch a baseball game. Sure, at first, the stadium was just too big and too tall for its own good. Sitting in those seats near the top was like sitting in a seat bolted into the side of a wall. However, recent renovations have turned this stadium into a state-of-the-art baseball-watching experience. They cut down the seats at the top and put in a kind of "roof" or overhang. This changes the wind-patterns on the field, but ads a homey quality to the stadium. The Fundamentals section in left field is the best place to take rowdy kids during the game. They can hit, run, learn to pitch. It's fantastic and well past anything the laughable Flubs on the north side have come up with. Apparently they feel kids will enjoy the stench of beer, vomit and enjoy urinating in a trough. The food at the Cell is the finest in baseball. Pizza, ice cream, churros, Polish sausage, gyros are all a few feet away. Plus, if you are in in the concourse to get food, the wide-open structure allows you to still see the field and the game, unlike at the crumbling disaster on the north side. If you want a true baseball experience, visit the White Sox at The Cell. Enjoy the montage and opening theme music with the great sound system and gorgeous Jumbo-Tron. Enjoy the fireworks. Enjoy ample parking that doesn't involve paying $30 to park in some yokel's garage. Mostly, enjoy world championship baseball.

I consider myself to be a north sider so watching Comiskey Park turn into US Cellular Field was a sight of pure joy. They have reworked the seating here so that they can cram in more spectators, which is great for the owners but bad for the people who are stuck up in the nose bleed section and feel like they are going to fall over the rails and into the field. If you are going to buy tickets to the game then make sure that they aren't on the lower level.

What used to be Comiskey Park has now been completely renovated and we must all refer to is as US Cellular. But despite the name change, this place is still home to Chicago's champions the White Sox. Its a great stadium and its always fun to go see a game here. The fans are just so pumped up and rooting for their team continuously. It is all very exciting. The renovated structure is also really nice and a fun place to be at.

I do still call it Comisky. Every year though, New Comisky keeps getting better and better. The FanDeck can be the best seat in the house! Now that they took off the super crazy high Upper Deck seats, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. And we all know that the team performs! I also love tailgating before the game! The community of Sox fans that gather are really fun and who can resist a mean game of beanbags?!? Also, I love the fireworks! I can't wait for tonight's show!

The stadium itself is state of the art. There is a massive food court, tons of parking etc.. I want to give the stadium itself high marks but we all know that the Sox are now the champs and tix for next season are gone already. "Regular" folks like myself that don't want season tickets and that just want to go to a game have only a chance of even getting in this huge stadium all next season. This is crazy, unfair and the way the tix were sold after they won was straight up bogus. Maybe I can get a seat in the very upper deck( it's aprox. 12 stories high up there) day of game. I'll bring a tissue for the nosebleed (lol) 4 stars for the stadium itself ,one star for the way they handled the tickets sales recently, 5 stars for the winning team. I guess a three star overall rating would be fair

For a south sider to call this stadium US Cellular Field instead of Sox Park must be very difficult. The day for the north sider has come. I must admit that even I, a north sider, am kind of sad about some of the new changes. It even feels as if the brats don't taste as good. It must be psychological. I can't stand the seating up on top. It makes you feel like you are going to fall right over onto the field. A fight broke out behind me last time that I sat up there, and I thought that someone was really going to get hurt because of how steep it is. Word to those looking for a seat... get something on the lower deck.

U.S. Cellular Field has changed quite a bit from the 1990's Comiskey Park. Many renovations have spiced up the once sterile(called by the media) stadium. You don't have to worry about finding a place to park, as the White Sox have multiple parking lots surrounding the stadium. The food in the stadium is some of the best that I have ever had at a sporting venue, and you can also tailgate before the game if you don't want to spend a lot of money on food once you get inside. The Bridgeport neighborhood has definitely improved, and it also helps that the White Sox are playing great baseball in 2005.

The White Sox is one of the best teams around. They have plenty of parking here. Also the train they ahve a train stop right there also. There is never a time when you cnanot find tiockets to a game. If you do ahve to drive you can partake in one of the many people tail gating here at the park. The food is alright but of course it can be pricey.
