love to visit this store, they always have located in the front of the store where you walk in a cart of clearance books for sale at very reasonable prices,childrens and adult books..they run sales on many of the books and picked up at stephen king hardcover book for only $6...a great deal to me cheaper than alot of other book stores...staff was very friendly and helped me located books i wanted,and also made some recommendations of which one's she enjoyed from the same author, i took her her up on that and picked several books. i will be going back again there soon..

This store has some cool murals of comic book heros which grace the outside of the building. The shop is not all that large inside. It is a no frills store with boxes scattered about and it's a very small, dive looking store that's pretty dirty. The thing that's great about it however is that they have a huge collection of comic books for sale that date back to the 1950's. Of course some of the older ones can cost up to $30.00. I picked up one from 1976 that cost me only $3.00 and one from 1986 that only cost $2.50. They also have some posters for sale.

This is a cute little bookshop on Broadway. Its a very cute little bookshop with lots of neat little finds. It doesn't always have all the conventional best sellers but it has lots of rare, old finds that are harder to find at the bigger bookstores. Its organized nicely and has a very homely feel to it. You can easily spent lots of time here just browsing and picking out books. This is one you have to really check out!

This is a very nice little bookstore on Broadway. Everytime I walk by I am tempted to go in because just the window boasts such a great selection of books.
They have great kids books especially and though I am a lot older now I love to browse through them and reminisce about those books that I used to read all the time when I was a kid.
The selection of books here is great and this bookstore has a really friendly atmosphere. You will really love this little bookstore.

Transitions is a peaceful bookstore with a plethora of books on every topic that could come to mind. Not only are there great books, but the ambiance is fabulous. They always have soft music playing and welcome people to come in a read for a while, without feeling pressured to buy anything. They have a great coffee area and sometimes have readings there as well. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would go there again.
PROS: Not pricey and has a parking lot
CONS: Parking lot is tough during evenings and weekends.
