My sister started going here a few years ago and had the greatest things to say. She sees Aimee, so when I was looking for a place to get my hair cut I made an appointment with her too. I can't say enough nice things about her. First off, the location is extremely easy to get to. The staff is always friendly and offer drinks or to take care of your jacket or anything you need. They always have good music playing and everyone is nice. Right away Aimee was friendly and interested in learning about me and making sure I got what I wanted. My first visit there I wasn't exactly sure of how I wanted my hair cut so Aimee was more than willing to help me figure it out. Every time I have been there I have been extremely pleased. Although I don't normally buy any of the products, they have a great assortment that is always fully stocked. The overall feel of the salon is very chill. You do have to book pretty far in advance because the stylists get filled up quickly. An extra bonus is if you're a DePaul student you get a discount. Also between hair cuts you get a free trim. I would definitely go there more if I didn't live in the suburbs and also the pricing is pretty high but at the end of the day it's worth it because I always leave happy and feel great with my new cut. Pros: Friendly Staff, Great Cuts, Nice Location, Good Music Cons: Pricey

I don't live in the area but I wish I did! I was recently in Chicago on business and stopped in after reading the reviews on CitySearch. Jennie is the only person I've found that has mastered both the cut and the color. I mentioned to her that I didn't see her name on the site and she informed me that she recently moved to Chicago so I thought I'd get the word out that Jennie is amazing! I live in Portland but I will make sure to find myself in Chicago next time I need to get my hair done. Nobody else is touching my hair again...I've already booked Jennie for my wedding!

It's a fun, trendy place with plenty of creativity. I love the Bumble and Bumble products that they use. My haircut was $60. I'm content with the cut, but my stylist did not listen well to me. I felt like it was a push and pull the entire time with what i wanted and what he wanted. I had that feeling of, ah, please stop cutting! and did voice that without getting much of a response/change. He had a vision and I had a vision- those visions were different. We ended up with his vision of the cut. It was a fine cut- he has talent, but just not what I wanted. And if I'm going to spend $60 on a cut, I want what I ask for and don't want to feel like it's a push-pull experience throughout the cut- not very relaxing. Probably won't go back.

After getting the haircut from hell at another salon, I came in to see Jamie to see if my hair could be helped. Immediately when I walked in the door, I loved the place. The staff person at the front desk was very friendly and offered my tea, water or coffee. Jamie is great to work with. She asked me a million questions about my hair and what I like and dislike. She really paid attnetion to what I told her .Even though I am stuck waiting for all these really bad layers to grow out, Jamie corrected my hair and made it look beautiful. And the best part it that it is easy for me to manage and I have no problems styling it myself. Pros: Great cut, friendly staff Cons: None!!

What a great experience I had here! I went in wanting something completely different from the nearly 3 feet of hair I've been sporting for so many years now, and I come out with a fabulous, chic new style. Natalie was very accomodating and really helped shape my vision of what I wanted my hair to look like. My style is so cute and fun- and the girls were very kind and helpful. Sonia did a wonderful job with my blonde highlights and cut last week. Being new to the area I needed a new hairstylist. I had a "not so great" experience at the last salon I went to here in Chicago, so I was a bit hesitant when arriving at this one. She made me feel very comfortable from the beginning of our appointment. She listened to what I wanted, corrected the problem with my color and I ended up with exactly the color of blonde I wanted. She is very down to earth, friendly and her prices are reasonable as well. If you re looking for someone who can cut and color (especially high maintenance blondes) try Sonia. She rocks! I was really impressed with SQN. The salon is small and not at all pretentious. I had no problems making an appointment and the entire staff was really friendly. I read positive things about Sonia and her knowledge of blond highlights. Sonia was one of the nicest, friendliest stylists I have ever met. She was easy to talk to and she really listened to what I wanted and did not try to impose her ideas on me. She took her time and my color looks fabulous. I had a wonderful expience and will definately return. Pros: Really friendly, down-to-earth staff. Cons: street parking
