I unfortunately had a bad experience when I went for a color. The color didn't turn out quite like I would have liked and washed out within 2 weeks. I got a demi-permanent because I have curly hair but the colors I've had before lasted at least 6 weeks. The stylist agreed to redo it but gave the job to an assistant. When I came home my husband told me I had a big dark brown stain on the back of my dress, and when I woke up the next day, my white pillowcase was brown! The salon has been very understanding though and reimbursed me, but I'm not sure I want to go back there now! Also, both stylist and the assistant couldn't style my hair after the color. I had never looked so disheveled in my life!

Each stylist will sit down with you, before they even show you a brush, to discuss your "hair needs," including what kind of cuts you've liked, what your ideal is, and tips to maintaining your locks. The stylists are hip and very hair saavy, some having been trained at Aveda. They offer hair care products, as well as make-up. Cosmetic services are only offered at the Lincoln Ave. lcoation. When I want a really good cut, I drive three hours to see Summer at Sine' Qua Non. This salon has many specialists that cut many different types of hair. Summer is known for her short cuts and for cutting naturally curly hair! She is upbeat and fun as well. Her color looks absolutely natural and stays in forever! The salon also carries Bumble & Bumble Products. The only disadvantage to the salon is the big city prices, most cuts start at $55.00!
