Lame 6/27/2006

I went into this salon for a blowdry style, and while they were able to accomodate me as a walk-in appointment, there was a complete lack of knowledge about the products that they use at the shampoo bowl. The stylist seemed novice and I left there looking roughly the same as when I walked in. Not worth the $60. I like that they carry and sell Rene Furterer, but other than that it's a pretty lame place. more

Futuristic Salon 8/20/2005

Marianne Strokirk has a cool, future space-age like look to it. The salon has a minimal decor and is mostly white. The stylists are good but can be a little snooty. It's on the expensive side too, even for downtown Chicago. I would not go back. I prefer to go someplace that does not feel so cold and snooty. more
