Although this store is a wee bit overpriced, I like the friendly staff and great selection. It's perfectly located, just steps from the Paulina El stop on Lincoln and down the street from Whole Foods and Dinkel's Bakery, so you can get some other shopping done if you're in the area. There are lots of great examples of jewelry in the store, and you can take classes here, too. There's a pretty big selection of beats and fittings, including beads sold both individually and by the strand. You can probably find beads cheaper, but it's got a nice vibe, and if you live in the Lakeview neighborhood, that's even better.

I have recently started making earrings and I was searching for a nice bead store. I happened to run into this store while I was taking a walk with a friend. They have a wonderful selection of beads here. The prices are a bit steep though. The girls are friendly and very creative. They offer classes as well. Parking is fairly easy to find.

I've bought beads and charms to make necklaces and hair accesories from this store...it is a neat place,they give you a box when you walk it to keep all the items in as you walk around the store,and pick and choose your items. they have a nice selection of stuff there and you can sit down at a table and string your own items,or have them do it for you,or like i did just take them home and do it.
