This is a pretty chill bar. We just went here on Thursday and it wasn't very crowded at all but it was kind of nice because you could actually hear your friends talking and understand people without having a sore throat by the end of the night! The food isn't that great but they've always got good drink specials and lots of sports on tv! Great place to go with a group of people

The Union has really hit it's mark. The theme is clearly "college" and from the moment you walk in you feel as if you are somewhere back on campus. It is a pretty dark bar. The bathrooms are decent. There are plenty of tv's to watch your favorite game on. The last time I was there, they had a $10 beer and snack special that included at least 3 hours. That part especially felt like college - walk in the door, pay $10, get a plastic cup for the rest of the night.

The self-imposed home of the Big Ten, this bar is always packed on a Saturday. Numerous TV's completely ensure a good view of whatever game you want to see. Better than average bar food, with quasi-decent specials, i.e., they could be better, but at least they have specials. Would definitely return.
