Me and the bestie went to Vain last Friday and had an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TIME!!! We had reservations, parking was a breeze and the bartender showed sooooo much loooove. You'd be crazy not to here.

Madison has become crowded in recent years with bars, so not many people seem to venture to this location. It's great! They have great specials and you can always find a place to sit. The staff is friendly and although it is large it has a small bar feel.

This is my favorite bar to go to when I want cheap food. Their nachos are amazing and their sandwiches are really good, as is their Sangria. Every day there's a different special after 5pm. Mondays - $2 burgers, Tuesday - half off sandwiches, Wednesdays - half off appetizers, Thursdays - $2 sangria. I rarely ever spend more than $10 (including tax and tip) and always leave full and satisfied. The crowd's the typical white young professionals crowd, but the wait staff is usually very nice, if not entertaining. Their website is unionparkchicago.com.

This bar is the least pretentious place in the Gold Coast. It's dirty, dark, and so much fun! The night I was there, a reggae band was playing and one of the owners (with an incredible voice) jumped on stage and started singing along. Everyone there is having a great time and incredibly friendly. Drinks are cheap. Space is limited- so later in the night, it got a little cramped, but it was still one of my favorite spots. It's been around forever and has a very cheers vibe. Highly recommended!

Underground was a good experience for me and three of my girlfriends. It was refreshing to be in a club without having nasty guys constantly trying to dance/get up on you while your trying to have a good time with your friends. Yes, underground is pricey especially if you are VIP But, its worth it. The music was awesome so, if your in the mood to dance, this is the the place to be. The crowd is classy and dressed to the nines. The staff is awesome and the waitresses themselves are a sight to see in their little bitty outfits. I recommend an outing to Underground if your rolling with a big group or girls night out. Dont forget to dress up, this is not a pub !

The Underbar has a decent beer selection and generally play quality rock 'n' roll. They have a four a.m. license so in those last two hours where this place really comes in handy. There isn't a lot of seating other than the bar itself and a few tables. People are generally friendly there and somewhat frisky in the wee hours.

When I first arrived, I didn't know what to expect. The place was packed. We had the valet to park our car and entered. This was a Friday night and the house was full. The chips and salsa were the bomb!!!!! We had the Margarita Swirl, and I must say this is the first frozen Margarita where I could actually tell there was Tequilla in it. The food was very very good. I tried the Juanita's platter, others at my table tried the carne asada, frog legs, and the ribs & fajita's. Everybody truely enjoyed their meals. They give you sooo much food for the money, we ended taking doggy bags home. I can't wait to go back and would recommend Uncle Julio's to all.
PS. Our waitress was awesome as well!!

Me and my girls were out for a girls nite out and we got board at 2 other bars, so we went to Uncle fattys!
we walked in the place was packed the music was jammin and everybody was dancin and havin a great time. Next thing I know i'm pulled up on stage with about 5 other girls and I'm dancin with the band on stage. Then they tossed this Giant blown up monkey out ....and it was crowd surfing...too funny. the drinks were strong the band was tight. By the end of the night I think i fell in love like 10 times, then we tried to steal the monkey but they stopped us at the door, lol!
Hope to get back to this totally happening club again soon.
Gotta find out when party freak is coming back they were too much fun.
Thank you Uncle fattys Chicago has needed a cool new club for aawhile, see you at the next party.

This is one of the best $12.00 investments I have ever made. I was visiting from Houston last weekend and me and my cousin decided to check this place out. We ended up here Friday(rainout), Saturday, and Sunday. 34oz. cold mugs---What else do you need? The Sunday experience was better because it was after the game. The menu is limited, but then again, I wasn't there to eat. I went there only to quench my thirst.
