I came in here with some friends not expecting much, but I have to say I was impressed! a great vibe, the server was intertaining, hitting on all of us, but he was the cutest thing I ever saw. made us laugh, and kept our drinks full. we played some of the games like flippy cup (I don;t know if it's every day, or if it was an event, but it made our weekend).
The pizza was the best I ever had, one of the girls wanted deep dish, but loved it. they put something illegal in the sauce, I ate my weight!! and well, drank... well... hi mom!
If purgatory is anything like the pizza place, I can't wait!
Pros: great fresh food, fun enviroment, cheap drinks

We always have a wonderful time no matter what time of day it is! The people, food, the stafff, the drinks are all worth it! If you are looking for a new place to hang out, this is definitely the place to go.
Pros: great people, prices, and close to the field if need be!
Cons: parking? but it's Chicago.

This bar is a sports lovers dream bar. A bar for people who want to go to a "bar." No nonesense, just kicking back, drinking beer and watching sports. Although small, this intimate setting has about 12 TV's. The wait staff is very attentive and the service excellent. Has no food, but at this place Beer is food. I enjoy the $6 pitchers at Mich Lite and drink special are daily. Lots of regulars, but those who are not regulars feel just as welcome. One of the Best Jukeboxes in town.

Cortland's Garage is the best place in Bucktown to watch a Bears or Texas Longhorns game... always a great crowd! Every week night has great drink and food specials, and weekends are always packed and tons of fun. The bartenders are very attentive and the servers are as well. Make sure not to leave without getting your hands on a Cortland Street burger.... delicious! Great place for both food and drinks- great, high- quality bar!

This place is a real gem. Both as a bar and a music venue. Such a great mix of people enjoying some truly excellent music.
And there's an impressive selection of drafts (and pitchers are an option - nice).
I hope this place retains its cultural value as gentrification encroaches. I would hate to see it lost to generic yuppie bullsh*t.

I Love going to O Hagans, I love everything about this place, the inside of the bar is great. The staff are always friendly & helpfull if you are undecided on what you would like. I would highly reccommended it to anyone.
Cute bartenders for the girls, and some nice looking chicks for the men. A lot of the staff are Irish, always nice to hear a Irish accent:)
If you have ever been to Ireland, and would love to go back GO HERE
