Not to big, not to small. Great music, live music during the week, reggae, punk, acoustic sounds, great DJ on the weekends. Hits me between a small bar and a downtown club, minus the dumb people that sit at a club and think they look cool but there not having any fun. And I think we all know what I'm talkin about. Okay, so Tonic Room rocks.

Tomboy, in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood, serves up fun yet sophisticated American food with a twist. The restaurant is gorgeous and comfortable, and their drink menu is to die for, including some delicious and extravagent martinis and other cocktails.
They feature live music every Thursday and frequently offer drink and dinner specials. This is a fun place to go with a group or even on a romantic date. Service is excellent. I don't know why this restaurant isn't a bigger deal, but it is to me! Very highly suggested!

This is one of those places that you could go on a date or just hang out with friends and you would have a great time. The staff is friendly and they have a really cool drink selection - totally worth trying something new and like their Tiny Cider (perfect for the summer) . They now have food, which is a really nice addition. Their food is WAY better than your average bar food but comes without any attitude. I'm not impressed easily and I'm impressed with this place.

Ive been to Tini Martini on a few occasions. Each time always a different experience but all in all pretty good! The music has always been my favorite part, which never seems to change and each time Ive gone there has always been good drink specials like martinis and shots. I would certainly recommend this spot for any kind of Saturday night outting. I also am aware of the fact that they have drink specials and good music other nights of the week too. I just might have to check it out on one of these days when I dont have a long work day the next morning :)

I went here for the first time tonight and I must say its a ton of fun.. until about 11pm when everyone in Lincoln park comes in! It gets so crowded that you are bumping into everyone and its a race to get a drink. No one really dances on the dance floor so all there is to do is stand around and drink. This place is definitely better on the weekdays when its less crowded and you can talk or watch games in peace. There's always a cool crowd when its not crowded!

Timothy O'Toole's is located at Ontario and Fairbanks, right in the Medical district. Lots of medical professionals and students hang out here. Its usually very loud. They have lots of small tvs...but its not really a great sports bar. The food is good, they have a couple of pool tables off to the side. Great place to stop by after work or school.

I cannot think of a better place to watch serious sporting events! They have like 50 TVS but without that corporate/sterile feel. It is a huge place but still feels like a neighborhood joint. I also think they have as many beer taps as TVS.My friend and I eat here all the time and the food is always very good. I highly recommend Timmy's!!
