I love Lincoln Park Zoo, my favorite by far is Adelor, the King of LPZ he is one of the most adorable, awesome creatures I have ever seen. I fell in love with him the second I laid eyes on him. There are pictures os Adelor all over my house, I even bought a picture from the gift shop with his picture and paw prints on it! The people who work there are friendly and helpful, which is not so easy to find anymore. So, if your thinking about going for a visit..GO!!! you will have a great time, and tell my boy I'll see him soon!!!!!

This zoo even has bugs on display. They have this one exhibit that is just roaches and I haven't been right ever since. It was absolutely disgusting and right next to it there was another exhibit for these large spiders that weren't contained. They looked pretty real to me, which makes you wonder how they are containing them. Scary but interesting.

I have been here many times before. And each time I go, I seem to enjoy it more. Its a fun place to go with kids. The zoo has many animals and exhibits to see. Also, park is well kept and the tickets are pretty cheap. They have discount days and there are always special deals and such going on. The zoo is located in a nice area and located in a convenient area for everyone.

To the Zoo. It's free, makes you feel you're doing something worthwile (especially if you make a donation) and give you and your date plenty of opportunities to talk and things to talk about. Just don't go on a Saturday during the summer--you will not be able to move a foot without being run over by a stroller, a kid running around with no parents in sight, or people who just aren't courteous enough to watch where they are walking.
Plenty of parking and also close to the lake--can you say picnic?

This zoo is a great place to come and relax when you're stressed about the fast-paced lifestyle that city living brings. The zoo is well maintained and you can tell they are doing the best they can with the space they've got. The gardens and flowerbeds are also very well taken care of. The best part is that it is free - just pay to park and you can spend the whole day just relaxing if you want.

This is another one of my special hang outs. If I'm feeling sad/happy/bad hair day/good hair day it doesn't matter, it always fills me with joy just to be among the animals. I think I missed my calling as Dr. Doolittle.
I really enjoy the bird exhibit. I love watching them fly over my head (hey, what just plopped in my hair??) and to see them prance about the place like they own it or something. But my absolute fave part of this zoo would be the farm in the zoo with all the goats, cows, chickens and such. That area is surrounded by such beautiful scenery. You have to visit during the Holidays for their after hours Christmas spectacular. It's awesome.

Before I started writing this review I was trying to think of something bad I could say about this zoo, but the only thing I can tell you is the street parking can be very difficult. I recommend if you do street park, use one of the meters on Clark Street and bring a lot of quarters. They do have a parking lot which is about $10. Another thing I thought that might bother some of you creative folks is that the area is surrounded by a lot of yuppies who live around there and pay huge sums of money for their precious condo. Now, let's talk about the zoo itself. It's great. It's a free zoo, one of the only free zoos left in the U.S., located only blocks from Lake Shore Drive. They have a beautiful pond which offers a great view of the skyline of Chicago. There is a large variety of animals, from antelopes to zebras for you to look at, or are they actually looking at you?!

When I first visited the Lincoln Park Zoo, I wasn't expecting much because it was free. I was pleasantly surprised. Lincoln Park Zoo is a great zoo with lots of great animal exhibits. My favorite is the polar bear exhibit, particularly the underground viewing. You get a really close look at the polar bears - my favorite animal!
