I wanted to tell you about the Sears Tower located in Chicago, IL. It is one os the largest buildings in North America. When I was a child I remember my mom taking me and my younger brother to visit the Sears Tower quite often, we would go all the way to the top where you can stand up to the big glass windows and look out to see all of Chicago. The also had telescopes where you put in a dime and you could see things close up that were really so far away. Whether you are a resident or tourist, I'm sure you will appreciate visiting the wonderful Sears Towers. Come up here for the amazing view, provided the skies are clear. You can also learn a lot from the tour. You can actually see parts of Indiana on a very clear day. Before you reach the top, you will see a short film explaining the history of the Sears Tower, and when you're at the top, they have a nice display of Chicago past and present.

The Sears Tower Skydeck is a great way to get an aswesome view of the city. I absolutely love it. My kids like it as well. They get real excited to see all the tiny cars and apartment buildings from up top. On a clear day you can see everything. The lake looks real nice from here. It does not cost too much to go up the sears tower. Its a fun experience. The last time I went here, I spent about 20 minutes up here. All tourists should make sure to go here.

Had to prove to myself and to my family that I could accomplish making it to the top right along with them. Who was I to ruin our family vacation by giving in to anxiety. I really don't like heights (LOL) so when we were in Chicago and my spouse suggested to the girls about going to the top of the Sears Tower...I had to just bite my lip and go along for the venture. Dubbed one of the tallest buildings it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. Once up there you can use the cameras to view around the city. Glad to have done it and have the experience.

The Sears Tower is a world landmark. You can see it when you are coming into Chicago from miles back. If it is a really clear day then you can see it from about 15 miles. I am speaking from experience. The top of this building has an unbelievable view if you like to see people look like ants. Just be careful for those security guards in front. They might have taken their job a little too seriously when I went in there last. "Put the nail clippers down, and take two steps back!"

The Sears Tower is something that definitely one of Chicago's defining factors. Its a great attraction for visitors and residents alike. I love to go here on clear, sunny days and make my way up to the top. It costs about ten bucks and you get to ride their super fast elevator up to the top floor. You can see the entire city from up above and you can take advantage of their binocular type machines to get more detailed views from up above. This is definitely an activity you want to do at some point or another!

Its an amazing experience going on top of the tallest building in America The price to go to the observation deck is around 10 dollars and its an amazing view from the top up there. makes you feel awed standing at such a height and its an amazing experience looking towards miles and miles of stretched lands. Definitely worth a visit .

It's worth visting here. Overal it's pretty cool. I have gone up here on a few occasions. It's obviously a different viewpoint than the Hancock bldg. I prefer going to the Hancock for this kind of thing. The Sears Tower's elevator is worth half the price of your admission, it's super fast so bring your chewing gum. Try to spend as much time as you can up there to get your moneys worth. Don't forget your camera.

The skydeck was amazing. I went on a night that was a bit cloudy so I wasn't able to see much past the water and out of the city - but the view of Chicago was amazing. I was up there while the sun was setting was was beautiful and also gave me a chance to see the view before dark and after dark when all the city lights were on! It was beautiful and for a decent price too! Just bring some gum to chew on when going up the elevator because your ears will pop! It is far worth it though!
