This was the longest 75 minutes of my life, along with my wife and daughter's (21). Mike, the guide, merely performed the most pathetic comedy act I have ever witnessed. Billed as an architectural tour, it was anything but. Mike knew virtually nothing. He named one architect, no dates, no knowledge, nothing. Beyond obnoxious and inconsiderate, he kept making one corny, stupid joke after another for 75 minutes, even though no one, no one, laughed at anything he said. He must have used the word "I" 80 times. The paying public was irrelevant. I was defrauded, as was everyone else who thought this had anything to do with architecture. Instead, join the Chicago Architecture Society for $75 per family and get a real tour without a narcissistic jerk as a "tour guide." A really crappy way to start the day on my daughter's 21st birthday. I've told my credit card company to delete the charge. This was almost criminal as I felt kidnapped.

My Husband and I took the architectural cruise with this company in May. What a joke. The 17 year old tour guide knew almost nothing about our great city and what he didn't know, he made up! He named buildings after superheros and gave us a tour of where he got his first kiss. Not cute for the price we paid. Neither was getting a soaking in millenium fountain on a cold day because his crew didn't know the fountain schedule before proceeding under it.Don't bother with this cruise if you are seriously interested in learning about Chicago.

My family and I go to Navy Pier every summer just to enjoy this great boat ride! The yellow speed boat takes you on a fun filled and fast tour of the lake front, with beautiful views of the city. I personally like to go on here on really humid nights, because you can get nice, cool air on the boat. Also, try to choose a time when there are fire works. That makes the experience even more fun! The boat rides are a half hour long and are really wonderful. People of all ages will definitely enjoy this fun filled tour of the beautiful city of Chicago.

The Sea Dog is a lot of fun. You go on a really big yellow speed boat which goes really fast. There are two types of tours, and architectural one and a speed one. I went on the speed tour in which you go really fast out on Lake Michigan. It is really fun. Then you look back at the skyline and they tell you interesting things about the buildings that you can see. Then you go really fast again and back to Navy Pier. I would highly recommend going for a fun time.
