This place has ok produce and deli, but nothing spectacular. The problem is that Dominicks burned down and the only other options are too far away for carrying groceries home if you live north of Diversey. This place will do for those that don't have a car to make it to Jewel.

This is a cool place to go grocery shopping. I like it better than Jewel down the road because ever since Dominicks burned down, that place is jam packed. This place has all the groceries I need and some great weekly specials too. The store is organized well and the customer service is great too. I also like their selection of fresh meats as well. Don't worry about parking here, they have a little lot of their own for their customers.

The Market Place is a decent option for groceries, even more so now since Dominick's isn't around (it got burned down). It is generally more higher priced than Jewel or the late Domicks, but the weekly sales are usually great and there are always some good money saving options. Another thing I like about this place is its never super crowded and no long lines. They also have their own little parking lot in the back, so you don't have to worry about finding parking.
