My husband and I decided to dine here after enjoying Lola's food at a party at the Palace Ballroom. The food was really delicious, if a bit expensive. We enjoyed the spreads as an hors d'oeuvre. We had the feta spread and the fig and olive spread and really liked both. (As a side note, it seemed a little ridiculous to have to pay $3.50 for extra pita bread for the spreads.) My husband had the octopus and I had the greek salad. The salad was outstanding ... really fresh and yummy with great quality ingredients. My husband enjoyed the octopus, but I think if we go back, we'll just split the salad. We each had a tagine as an entree. My goat tagine was fabulous. The meat was so tender and flavorful. My husband's lamb tagine was really good too but not as wonderful as the goat. We had the "doughnuts" for dessert and they were tasty but nothing special in our opinion. The cocktails were good, especially my husband's sidecar, and we both enjoyed the "house" wine. Service was polite, efficient, and prompt. Our server made great menu recommendations and was gracious about the fact that our salads arrived before the spreads. Also, the reservations staff and hostess were very kind to us. We had a reservation for 9:15 on Saturday night, but they told my husband when he made the reservation on Thursday to call Saturday morning to see if they could fit us in earlier in the event of last-minute cancellations, and they wound up moving our reservation to 8:30 pm. When we showed up at 7:45 pm planning to enjoy a drink at the bar before being seated, they were able to seat us right away, which was great for us tired young parents! Overall it was a really nice night out. It is a little pricey, even considering the high quality of the food and service, but it is well worth it for a treat!
Pros: Delicious food, kind service, fun atmosphere

My kids and I have this quarterly ritual. We visit the Pacific Science Center. We find that there is always something to discover and that they update their exhibits frequently, each one more interesting than the previous. Great fun place that's also educational and a nice breather from the malls.

Nice place to get together with friends over some libations and pu pus, cool vibe throughout, modern sleek, the cuisine doesn't seem to jibe exactly with the decor (comfort food + ultra modern design?) - but I kinda like that
Pros: Nice drinks & atmosphere
Cons: none

Even though we live on the eastside, we visit Six Seven every Mother's Day for the most awesome brunch around. (The bacon alone is worth the drive but the made-to-order-while-you-wait omelets are great, too.) We also bring out of town guests there for dinner because it's hard to beat the charm of fine dining on the waterfront, even when the weather isn't the best. (In summer, the outside deck is open for seating). There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Wait staff NEVER rushes you and you feel free to relax and enjoy the experience.
Pros: Beautiful waterfront view, creative dishes with NW flair
Cons: Parking can be an issue

I'm always happy when I eat at Andaluca. Most recently, I went there for their "dine around Seattle" promotion (you basically get 4 of their "pinxtos" [small plates] + dessert for $30). Everything that I and my three dining companions had was exquisite. Specifically, I'd highly recommend the halibut skewer, the cabrales-crusted beef skewer, and the mushrooms ala greque. I'm not much of a dessert eater but the liquid chocolate cake was also delicious. Andaluca also has a superb wine list and mixes great cocktails. The service was the perfect blend of attentive and unobtrusive and the ambiance is elegant yet relaxed. All in all, a wonderful dining experience which I would highly recommend.
Pros: atmosphere, food, service, free valet parking

If I want to be SURE my wife and I have a lovely meal out, Campagne is where we go. The food is sophisticated, and complex. Every item is prepared with excruciating care. At the same time, the service is relaxed, easy going. They'll never rush you, make you feel stupid, or try to be your buddy. They just bring you what you need, when you need it. The best.
Pros: Sauces, desserts, everything
Cons: Not cheap

Just a fun vibe at this downtown seattle hotel, lot's of communal space, friendly Euro's staying there, and really walkable to a lot of different places. Very inexpensive too (cheap!), but if you are looking for someplace fancy - look elsewhere
Pros: Cool vibe, very walkable to many areas
Cons: Not fancy

I had the gnocchi at this place and it was melt in your mouth delicous. A great place to take clients for lunch (although you may need a nap afterwards), makes you feel like you are in Tuscany. Great wines paired with traditional Italian, and some northwest flare. All in all, an amazing Seattle restaurant
Pros: Gnocchi to die for
Cons: very rich

We had a delicious lunch the day of our arrival in Seattle (Feb 11th). The Salad Nicoise was fresh & very well prepared as was my fresh cod with perfectly cooked aspargus & yellow beets. The waiter was friendly & attentive. We had the opportunity to meet Michael White, the executive chef & applauded him for his recipes. When I return to Seattle, I will definitely return to Brasserie Margaux.
