I like the bankers at the Bank of America Northgate branch. They were able to work with me on opening up accounts. The banker was totally accommodating and didn't mind that I had a zillion questions. If she couldn't answer it, she patched me up with someone, an expert who can. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience working with her that we decided to do business with them on additional services. What nice people they were. It is true, the personalized service made a difference when we had bids out for a mortgage.
Bank of America Northgate branch is attached to the Northgate Mall. They have a separate entrance. ample parking is available. There are 2 drive up ATMs available. This bank is easily accessible from I-5, Lake City and Northwest Hospital.

Being a new home buyer, one of the toughest thing to do is figuring out this whole mortgage thing. Reading all the books I could only help me so much. I talked to Well's Fargo and although they were nice, they were also closely tied to my home builder, so upon a recommendations from a co-worker, I went to this mortgage company. I'm happy that I did as my mortgage broker/lender got me a great deal and I felt he was looking after me and not his commission (unlike Well's Fargo). You can trust these guys.

As a real estate agent that shows up for all my client's signings I get a first hand look at many escrow companies. One person that I've come to admire and respect is Jamie Kondo, currently working at HomeStone Escrow in Kirkland. I believe she is about to be promoted to managing their Seattle office but a few details must be sorted out about a replacement for her in Kirkland first. However, even with the limbo she was able to conduct a recent transaction closing for me and my clients on the Seattle side.
Jamie has been working in escrow for about 8 years now and she comes from a family that is well immersed in the real estate scene with her mother being a career agent in the Tacoma area.
Having just passed her LPO (limited practice officer) test she is more than just a "closer" in the industry. Between her previous experiences as a signing agent and her new certification she is able to work on most real estate transactions with aplomb. She is well balanced and professional in her business dealings and she does a fine job of explaining all the documentation to buyers and sellers so they know exactly what they are signing at their appointments. Considering how daunting it can be for a buyer with all of the lender documents this is a good thing. I've sat through some painful escrow signings and had to apologize to clients for the lack of knowledge and professionalism when I've let another agent or their client direct the escrow firm in a transaction.
I highly recommend Jamie!

Washington Mutual is a good bank, i prefer it rather then Bank of America because there are no hidden fees. My sister used to work there and said she loved the people, the job, and none of her customers never complained once. There is a Washington Mutual on 15th around 85th by Whitman Middle school. There are actaully a few so check one out.

It's hard to get excited about a mortgage company. But my experience with Alpine was certainly positive.I can't speak for the rest of the mortgage company, but Tina Carter is certainly one of the finest folks in the business. She's professional, straight forward and honest. I had done a fair amount of research before I went to see her and she guided me through the decision process with ease.

I have my account with this bank for half a year, and closed the account because I can’t stand their customer service. My banking transactions are usually simple deposit or withdraw, but each time I go to the bank, the transactions always take over 5 minutes. The reason I bank with them is because they have higher interest for savings account and provide many free services, but I had so frustrated when I go that I rather pay for the service at another bank.
