Due to the urging of two friends, I recently signed up for a pre-natal yoga class at Eight Limbs with the famous Anne Phyfe. The class itself is excellent- just strenuous enough with great stretching, learning better breathing is key and awareness of the baby is always emphasized. Anne Phyfe is AMAZING-she sends a ripple of calm through all of her students with her voice and soft touch and excellent instruction. The studios are clean and airy and the overall vibe is just plain sweet.

ABCs of Dancing is the private business of an instructor in a Lake City Dance Studio. She gives private dance instruction for special occassions. We went to her to learn a first dance for our wedding. We brought in a CD of our song, and within a few minutes, she had choreographed a dance for us. As we learned the steps, she would modify them and add more complexity as we were ready for it. We had 2 private dance lessons for our first dance and everything went great.

Those of you who have read my other posts probably know that I am not vegan myself, but that does not mean that I don't support those who advocate such a lifestyle change. I first encountered Action for Animals outside a fair by the Seattle Space Needle, where I bought a ocean conservation pin from them. They will send a free vegan starter pack to help people who have decided to make the change.
