My kids and I have this quarterly ritual. We visit the Pacific Science Center. We find that there is always something to discover and that they update their exhibits frequently, each one more interesting than the previous. Great fun place that's also educational and a nice breather from the malls.

Ribs, the salads, the cheeseburger, the sandwiches, the stew, the low fat menu choices, they are all great. There is so much meat on the ribs you can cut it off with a knife and avoid the bib.
I have been going to Von's for the past 6 years about once a month. It has been a goal of mine to try everything on the menu but sometimes I just have to have something I ordered before because it was so good.
I enjoy eating outside watching the people walk by, it reminds me of Paris. Thank you for the heaters.
Pros: Everything I order is FANTASTIC
Cons: none

We went here for a date and had a nice romantic evening. The karaoke was beginning a bit late and we are early diners. We were served well and promptly, had a nice dinner. Their tiramisu is one of the best I have had.. Highly recommended!
Pros: Food, Service

I have been going to Husky's for years - mostly for the ice cream cones! It's old-fashioned and neighborly in there. I just wanted to add my comments and thank them for keeping it going for our enjoyment. My favorite is maple walnut.
Pros: Handy to walk to if in West Seattle, Friendly
Cons: Parking sometimes, but who cares?

My husband and I love the dim sum at China Gate and go there a couple of times per week for lunch. It's always hot and fresh, and very reasonably priced. We've also had numerous dinners there also, and have enjoyed our many selections. The duck and lettuce wraps are especially yummy. The owner who is named Sonny is very personable and is always very happy to see everyone, he makes us feel very welcome every time we go there. I highly reccomend this restaurant. Ask for Sonny when you go.
Pros: Dim Sum...fresh and served warm. The owner Sonny...very friendly.
Cons: bathroom floors are sticky

We took the locks cruise during sunset. Seeing the city as well as the mountains at twilight made it worth every penny (it is fairly expensive). This was a birthday gift so I guess its easy for me to say but I wouldn't regret paying for it. The trip was so romantic and beautiful.
The tour guides were pretty informative and the crew was friendly. I think its great for both tourists and locals. You learn a little bit of trivia and if you are new to the area a lot about the different neighborhoods of Seattle. It gives you a good sense of the city. But besides all that, its just fun to go out on a boat trip once in a while and see the salmon jump! :)

I can not possibly believe the bad reviews! This place is great for authenticity, good fresh traditional baked salmon, it is the best natural baked salmon around. There are real native dances, filled with 3rd and 4th generation employees. Tillicum Village is a phenomenal place to glance into history as well as taking a break from the stressful high paced monotony of life. It's a place to relax and enjoy. Try camping on the island.
Pros: SALMON, AUTHENTICITY, STAFF
Cons: PARKING
