I love this place too! I got a PMB from them for cheaper then the USPS offered, plus it is so much nicer to go in to the Alki Mail and Dispatch then to the Post Office. They have a lovely selection of cards, fax machines, shipping services, and I can get packages shipped there so I don't have to worry about packages being left outside my doorstep. I defenitely recommend checking them out for coffee or mailing services.

My husband and I own a business and have multiple accounts at Washington Mutual. I started out at the Greenwood Branch years ago when I received good service, then about 7 years ago the service went down hill at Greenwood (It might be better now?). We decided to switch to the Crown Hill Branch and we have been very happy. Anna Mae, the bank manager is a sweetheart and everyone else is friendly and knowledgeable. Tolin Peterson, has helped us out a great deal in managing all of our accounts and facilitate loans and lines of credit. We highly recommend the friendly, professional service at Crown Hill WAMU.
Pros: Parking, Convenience, Friendly Service, Knowledgeable, Drive-up Teller

I will only bank with Washington Mutual as I have since I was a young child. The Queen Anne staff are always friendly and there is rarely a line. I have even had some issues come up with the bank regarding a large check. This branch was more than accommodating with this circumstance. See for yourself and check it out!

I have been banking with WAMU for many years and have yet to find another bank that offers as good of service. Their pay-by-phone service is great too as well as the online bill pay service. They have always been very helpful and courteous with any problem that I might encounter, which is rare to have a problem. Great Banking institution.

I've never gotten excited about a bank before, but I have to say, WAMU at Century Square is fantastic! Their customer service is always really personal and friendly. They go way above and beyond the call of duty to make my business banking easier, and they have all kinds of cool little benefits to help my business grow.
Thomas & Kerin even took the time to come and visit my office to say hello and make sure that I was getting all of my banking needs met. Every teller I've banked with at this branch, has been just a pleasure to work with; and as goofy as it sounds, I actually enjoy going to the bank now (at least this one).
It's rare to find such great customer service these days. Kudos on the great work and yay for WAMU!!
Pros: Friendly, professional and personal customer service.
Cons: More banks aren't like this one.

I always dread going to the bank. The sterile flourescent lobby, the bored tellers who make you feel like an idiot if you don't have everything filled out just perfect, the long lines.
People's Bank in Magnolia is the complete opposite. A warm, inviting space, friendly tellers who get to know you by sight and name, no lines, and smiling pleasant answers to even the most ignorant questions.
This is probably what it felt like to go into the bank run by Jimmy Stewart in "It's a Wonderful Life". I thought that this welcoming community atmosphere had disappeared in the wake of corporate mergers and globalization. What a pleasant surprise to walk into People's Bank and find that it is still alive and well in my community.
Oh, and their rates are competitive too!!!
