i love going to la ferme. it is great to go there on group occasions or on a date with a special someone. Their food will always keep me coming back. they also have a great wait staff and very friendly waiters. the place is a littlwe bit hard to find as it is in some back area but the area is very nice. they also have outside seating.

This is a hole in the wall pizza place on a side street in Bethesda. I first started going their at lunch where you can get pizza by the slice. Their slices are thing with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. It's very subtle, not like one of the pizza chains. Well, the pizza by the slice progressed to getting pizzas for dinner. Anyway, their pizza is wonderful. The people that work there are very friendly and definitely experts at what they do. You can also pick up other fresh Italian items there including wine. Highly recommend!

We found this restaurant looking for a place to eat while in town. I always saw it and wanted to visit since I love stromboli. You will not be disappointed. The place is somewhat of a dive but very inexpensive. It takes a while for the strombolis to come out but it is delcious when it does. Get the frequent buyer card because you will be back.

It's a great place to meet/talk, have coffee, read newspapes. We live in the next building and appreciate this cafe very much. Stuff is qualified and extremely friendly. Very clean nice place, the fireplace, beautiful window views - all create warm atmosphere. I even gave several Russian lessons to my students there - they enjoyed very much! What is missing from our European experience - having free newspaper for reading.

But while it is ideal for a special occasion, its bistro setting also appeals to those looking for a fine-dining experience in a casual cozy atmosphere. Must try is the mushroom and blue cheese ravioli, in addition the scintillating Pear Trio -pear strudel with figs and hazelnuts, pear sorbet and chai poached pear. Excellent service, Expensive.

There are other items on the menu, but the stromboli is the thing to get here. I had the veggie and it was fantastic--loads of veggies and cheese and a just-right crust. Atmosphere isn't much, so I'd suggest takeout.

paners bread has very good sandwiches. they also have great soup and its in a bread bowl. they also have good coffee and some deserts. the best part though is their sandwiches which are made fresh and they use only best ingredients which i love. their soups are the second best because they always are switching the soups so you can never have the same soup twice in a week.

I never get tired of chipotle. The food is great and is fresh...so much better than taco bell. Can be very crowded at weekday lunch hour time.
PROS: Yummy!
CONS: The music they play is too loud..makes it hard to hold a convo with someone
